For a classic that still holds up, 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' is a masterclass in psychological tension. You’re literally inside the head of someone crafting a lie, and the dread builds from knowing it could all collapse at any second. Patricia Highsmith was a genius at making you complicit. I reread it last year and was still flipping pages way too fast, even knowing the ending.

Thriller books can pull you in like a mysterious whirlpool, and there are so many gripping titles out there! One that I absolutely can't stop recommending is 'Gone Girl' by Gillian Flynn. The exploration of trauma and the human psyche is both fascinating and chilling. The twists are stacked so expertly; there were moments I just had to put the book down and go breathe.
