Beta In Omegaverse Novels & Stories

After checking my appearance, my hooded blue eyes stared into nothingness, and another deep breath escaped my lips before walking towards the door. I was on my way to the jail cell where my sister had given up her life. My sister and I were the lowest species in the Dark Furs because we were omegas. Some of the omegas were born as servants, but others, blessed with beautiful faces and luscious bodies, were required to become the Alpha's child-bearer.

Beta's dissatisfaction with the Alpha's decision was evident, but the Alpha just smirked and looked me up and down. "You better sharpen your instincts, Algie," he remarked to the Beta, and then turned to the head Zeta. "Bring out three warriors," he ordered, and then looked at me. "Prepare yourself, Sophia." I closed my eyes as he walked away. I sensed Beta's sigh, and when I opened my eyes, I saw him shaking his head as if he pitied me. "If you weren't an omega, I would have believe what he was saying," he murmured and walked away from me.

Beta Oliver looked angrily at me. My palms clenched into fists. Holding back all the emotions I'm currently feeling in my heart. "Yes. Supposedly, Alpha Xavier never raised you as his beta. Once an omega, always an omega. But it's possible… this all has something to do with each other needs about.” Ava suddenly joined the conversation. "What do you mean?" I asked and looked at him who was now starting to change his facial expression. I know what that facial expression means there.

I ask. As we turn to follow a pissed off Alpha Cory, the Beta yells after the Omega, “You better watch yourself girl, they will leave and you will be here alone again,” he threatens. Looking at the Omega I move her behind me and walk back up to the Beta. He takes a step back as I look him in the eyes for a moment, comfortable with the silence. “Are you threatening that young woman Beta? Because that would be indicative of your guilt and would be grounds for punishment within the alliance agreements,” I remind him.

Or, when I was in a more romantic mood, I thought that the Moon Goddess allowed wolves to mix and mate with those above their status because love doesn’t see those kinds of barriers as an obstacle. One lazy afternoon Jacob and I had gone so far as to discuss who would replace me as Beta. We had considered Joshua, Rosa’s boyfriend, as he was the son of the Lead Warrior, and a dangerous, calculated fighter. We’d made no firm decisions, though, and now it all seemed so fruitless.

Chapter 15: Two Moons Entwined Chris read through the result slip a couple of times, thinking he had mistaken the word “Alpha” as “Omega”. Nevertheless, no matter how many times he read it, the word “Alpha” was clearly stated there. For whatever unknown reasons, Chris was not satisfied with the result and he was denying the fact Nathan was an Alpha. Before this, he was certain his best friend was an Alpha and he did not mind it. However, after talking to his mother and listening to her thoroughly, Nathan’s description fitted more to be an Omega rather than an Alpha. Nonetheless, a heavy-seed Omega — the rarest of the rare.

"You have none that I can detect." "I've spent a lot of time in situations I'm not supposed to be in," I said. "Cells just have bars." Something crossed his face — not warmth, Vane did not operate in warmth, but the specific displacement of a man whose model has just received an input it did not predict. "You're the Beta's daughter," he said. "Technically." "The Omega. The one they call a throwback. The one who shifted wrong." He said all of this with the flatness of labels being read from a file — not cruelly, not as weapons, simply as identification data being confirmed against the person in front of him.

I ask him. “I need someone who has something worth losing,” he retorts as I raise a brow. This isn’t helping. “If I’m going to do this, I need to know why you need to marry a human so fast. I know people will be asking.” He stares at me as if he is trying to decide whether to trust me or not. “If you don’t want me to know, then that’s fine.” I turn on my heel, holding the doorknob. “I need my position as Beta of the City of Wolves,” he says to me, and I turn to face him. “Why?”

“B-But… Why me? I am just an omega.” Alpha Jake glanced at Mara, sensing her uncertainty and the weight of the situation upon her shoulders. He spoke with a calm and reassuring tone, "Mara, in the eyes of the moon goddess, the status of an omega, beta, or alpha doesn't define one's worthiness. The moon goddess's choice is not based on societal ranks or hierarchies within the pack. It's about a deeper connection, a bond that goes beyond what we can see on the surface."

The only thing he wasn't sure of was the amount of people it took for her to act on her plan. He entered the infirmary and he was instantly led to Estan’s ward. He saw his Beta sitting on the edge of the bed. “Alpha,” Estan acknowledged him with a quite calm tone. It didn't come as a surprise to Regan as he knew Estan was a Beta wolf. Their genes were far more stronger than the regular gammas and omegas. He glanced at Shaerah and the other healers that were also present in the ward. Taking the hint, they both bowed before leaving.
