Betrayed And Claimed By The Lycan King Novels & Stories

He dropped the wine glass in his hands on the table and leaned forward. "The Lycan King has a mate now, a Luna?" the elder asked and I nodded slowly. Suddenly, his expression changed as a smile spread across his face. He rose from his seat, falling his wine glass and spilling the content all over the clothe covered table. Looking up at the ceiling, he screamed, "the Lycan King has a mate now, praise be to the moon goddess." "I don't think you should celebrate something like this, Elder Hugh," I shouted as I too rose from my seat.

He might not have been the one that killed my family or even Leo, but he sure cursed me with a series of heartache, pain, and the feeling of betrayal. My kids have been taken to the princess's chambers because they are royalty, and I would go and see them soon, I am just happy they have been taken away from Olivia. Just as I was lost in my thoughts, a loud knock disturbed me and I groaned loudly. “Who the fuck is it?” I growled. “The Lycan king has requested for your presence,” A maid said, still knocking at my door. “Fuck him,” Moxilla cursed, under her breath.

However, my hands and tact were a little clumsy. I dropped the slow poison in his liquor. I had no choice but to follow king Nicolas. I tried to be selfish here. I am the Lycan Queen now. I could bring down Duncan without anyone's help. Vincenzo was always just a pawn for me but my heart felt guilty. Ever since my wolf knew about my plan of betrayal, she stopped responding to me.

The Hollow went dead silent. “I was rejected too,” he said. “My father said I was a mistake. The pack said I was a Lycan king.” He looked straight at the Fae lord. “The Moon doesn’t make mistakes with Lycan blood.” The Fae lord studied him for a long moment. Then he did something no one expected. He knelt. “I pledge fealty to the Young Lycan King,” he said. “And to his Lycan mother. And to his Lycan father.”

Leaning close to my ear, his voice slid out like a cold, dark melody: “Haven’t you already betrayed him when you tried to assassinate his destined mate?” “I killed Esmeralda. I can claim I saw her fleeing and grew suspicious, followed the blind she-wolf to investigate, and discovered she was an impostor.” I bared my fangs threateningly. “Now let me go.” “Do you really think the Lycan king would believe your story? Weren’t you the one humiliating yourself, begging to be his Luna?” Licking his lips, the beta released me and sucked the blood from his fingers. “Think about it: the Alpha isn’t a fool. He knows you’re in love with him—and that Callie is a threat to you.”

Liam stood tall, his eyes ablaze with determination, as he summoned his most trusted men to accompany him on the search for Liliana. The time for uncertainty was over; he would not rest until he found his missing mate. The palace gates swung open, revealing the imposing figure of the Lycan King and his loyal warriors, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Katherine's safety still hung in the balance, driving me forward. In the depths of the abyss, I steeled myself for the trials to come. The unknown lay ahead, but I was resolved to face it head-on. I would find my way back to my pack, to Katherine, and we would emerge from this darkness victorious. My primal instincts surged, guiding me through the shadows as I ventured deeper, ready to confront whatever awaited me with unwavering determination and the indomitable spirit of the Lycan king.

I felt my heart jump in glee as soon as he uttered those words. I released her hands and took a deep breath before turning to face Edric who stood right behind me with a serious look. “Very well then,” I spoke. "We will burn the whole village to ashes as we leave. And bring the prisoner along, she’s our hostage now.” As I walked past him, I noticed his eyes pop with suspicion. I was sure he already knew. A Lycan is sure to know when his fellow has found his matching mate. My lips curled to a satisfyingly vengeful smirk as I dallied past savaged corpses, dissected body parts, splattered blood, and of course, the head of the Alpha king Donovan on a spike. Now my late family can rest in peace.

I tried to get up but only succeeded in falling back down. I needed a reboot. I couldn’t face him now. The pain was too intense and I could only crawl away from him. I just hoped it wasn’t what I was thinking. I just hoped the pain was just… pain. The Lycan King smirked at me now and threw his claws out. “I’ve never been happier for my mate betraying me.” He started eating up the distance between us. “Looks like I’ll be taking two lives now instead of one.” He said and I tried to pounce up and throw my claws at his wretched face but then a sharp pain in my abdomen sent me back down.

His voice trembled with emotion, each word weighted with the depth of his feelings. "Lyza, please... I love you. I believe you're my mate, destined to be by my side. I can't let you go without a fight," he implored, his voice filled with sincerity. "I will prove to you that Darlyn's claims are nothing but falsehoods. Our connection, our love, is real." I looked at him, stunned by his admission. The Lycan King, on his knees before me, baring his vulnerability and unwavering devotion. It was a sight I never expected to witness, and it shook me to my core.
