Betrayed And Claimed By The Lycan King Novels & Stories

She challenged us. I laughed, the sound harsh and humorless. "Oh, I know exactly who you are. And I don't give a damn who your husbands are. You've hurt a woman, plotted against killing more. As far as I'm concerned, you've forfeited any protection your status might have given you." I warned her. "You can't do this," another woman protested weakly. "I can, and I will," I replied, my voice hard as steel. "I am the Lycan King, and you are all under arrest for conspiracy and attempted murder." I growled.

She sat down beside me, her eyes boring into mine. "It is too complicated, Bianca," I whispered. She tilted her head to the side and narrowed her eyes. "Then… explain it in a way that the both of us will understand," she mumbled, her entire attention fixed on me. I sighed and straightened up, wondering if it would be right to tell Bianca where I had truly gone. "The Lycan king was stabbed by a beast some days ago," I said, still doubting the safety of telling her. "I know. The Luna Queen told me," she chipped.

"I have nothing left. Except him." The guardian didn't respond. I crawled forward, each movement agony. "I know I'm not special. I know I don't belong here. But if there's a chance, any chance at all that the king can help Dorian, then let me try." The guardian looked toward the mountain. And suddenly, I heard it faint but unmistakable. A heartbeat was coming from the mountains. It echoed from within the stone like a pulse in the earth itself. He's here. The Lycan King.

“An Alpha cannot mistake his Luna’s scent. It clings to you. How is this possible… if you claim she has never been here in your pack?” The king’s eyes glowed faintly red, a dangerous sign of the beast beneath his skin clawing to break free. His Beta and Gamma rushed to his side, prepared to strike if the situation escalated. Across from them, Aldrake’s warriors stumbled back, their instincts screaming to flee, yet bound by loyalty to stand their ground. The Lycan King’s voice thundered like a storm. “If you value your life, do not press a battle you cannot win. To accuse me—the one who reigns above all—shows either madness… or a d*ath wish.”

“Is everything alright?” “Yes, of course!” she said, pouring some milk into my coffee before handing it to me. “He was just looking for information.” “Information?” I repeated, bringing the coffee cup to my lips. “Apparently,” she said, “the Lycan King found his second chance mate last night in Room 14, and she’s disappeared. He’s called for a search until she’s found!” I didn’t realize I’d dropped my cup until I heard it shatter on the floor.

[FLASHBACK: THE DAY AFTER THE VIRELLIONS' TRAGIC FUNERAL] ~Zephyros Lupus~ It’s been a full day since that humiliating blow landed. One whole day since the Lycan Alpha of the Whispering Pines Pack brushed off my words and ruined my plans to take over the Virellion pack. Dravok from their pack wouldn’t stop glaring at me the whole time. He finally asked what the hell I had done. The real question is, what could I have done against someone that powerful? I can’t move against my rival yet.

finally making sense. “What are you expecting? That just because you clothed and feed her, she’ll automatically be yours for the taking? May I remind you, Lycan king, she betrayed me first. I saw her true colors first. I know her better than you do.” And it was punctuated with a devilish laugh.

It made a sick kind of sense once I understood their strategy. They knew that killing me would be difficult, that a Lycan King was hard to put down even with superior numbers and firepower. But they also understood that hurting Vera would destroy me more effectively than any bullet or blade, that watching my mate die would break something inside me that could never be repaired. A Lycan King who'd lost his mate was a creature of pure rage and grief, unable to think strategically or lead effectively, consumed by the need for vengeance to the exclusion of all else.

Her genuine mate was Ethan, while our mate bond was formed as the result of the curse. Christopher also explained that the reason why everyone was easily charmed by Joye's appearance and character was because of the blood flowing in her veins. The Lycan king was the leader of the Lycans, and once the leader was under the influence of a charm, the subjects were bound to follow suit. This particular theory seemed a little sketchy, but it was believable too. Joye was kind and lovable, people being charmed by her character might not necessarily be because of some curse.

I buried my face in my chest Maybe we should check, let's rip her clothes off to see if she's hiding a tail somewhere,” she ordered. I prayed fervently, hoping someone would come to my aid. “That's enough “ a deep voice cuts through the room. It was Wesley Blackwood, the Lycan king, the most feared monster among all kinds. “I mean, no one dares lay a hand on her,” he commanded. His steps were heavy as he walked towards us. My heart almost jumped out of my throat when I saw him emerge from the shadows.
