Betrayed And Claimed By The Lycan King Novels & Stories

"You've got to believe me!'' I pleaded, panic rising inside me. There is no way, there has to be some kind of joke here. "And why should he?'' The high priestess asked in a rather cunning voice. "For all we know, you could be trying to baby trap our Alpha. They Lycan King does not take likely to such betrayals little one.'' The hall fell silent, Lucas, for once, avoided my eyes. Those same eyes that when casted on me brought shivers down my spine. "Lycan King Lucas Morretti is the last of his blood line!''

I gasped, frozen in shock as their eyes locked onto us, their expressions a mix of anger and betrayal. "Traitors!" the Lycan King's voice boomed, echoing through the chamber. "You dare defy me?" Jay stepped forward, his voice laced with desperation. "My Lord, please, let us explain. It's not really wha-" his words got stuck in his throat, at the sudden wave of the Lycan King's hand. But before any explanation could be offered, the Lycan King's command reverberated through the room. "Take him to that special cell!" The guard accompanying him swiftly moved, seizing Jay and dragging him away, his pleas for mercy falling on deaf ears.

Chapter One Hundred and Fifty Four Alexander’s POV Lycan King Alexander stood tall upon a rocky cliff, his fierce gaze sweeping across the vast expanse of his kingdom. The moonlight cascaded over his ebony fur, casting an ethereal glow on his regal figure. His golden eyes, sharp and determined, conveyed the weight of his responsibilities as the ruler of the Lycan pack. "Men," he bellowed, his voice echoing through the night. "We embark on a mission of utmost importance tonight. Zara's parents have vanished under mysterious circumstances when we conquered their pack. It is our duty to find them and bring them home safely."

"And you are?" A heavy silence fell over the room. I looked between them and realized this wasn't going to end well. "This is Lucian," I said quickly. "The Lycan King." Adrian's eyes widened slightly. "The Lycan King?" Lucian didn't answer. Adrian stood and held out his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Lucian looked at his hand, then he looked at Adrian. After a few seconds, he took it. "Likewise."

To get me alone. "The Lycan King will kill you," I said. My voice shook but I forced the words out. "The Lycan King won't find pieces big enough to bury." Marcus pulled out a silver knife. "This ends tonight. Should have ended twenty years ago." My wolf snarled inside me. Loud. Furious. Stronger than I'd ever felt her. Fight, she commanded. Don't run. FIGHT. "I don't know how," I whispered. Yes you do. Let me out. LET ME OUT!

"First is having their King killed by a werewolf. Second is a werewolf being their King. And now you give them hope but take it away by demanding the oath of fealty.” I glared at him. "You have no say in the matter. Tread carefully, Rhazien." "You were never going to make him the King, were you?" "No," I said honestly. "You gave your word," Rhazien looked at Ava. I didn't like him dragging her into this. Before I could say anything, she spoke. "What do I know? I have been a Luna for all of two weeks. Nikolai knows best about all of these things." She shrugged, still going on with our little charade. "He made a decision and I stand by him."

“Is that right?” Declan glared at him and then at me. “She’s lying, sir. The woman doesn’t know what the hell she’s talking about!” “If you listen to him, you will lose a million’s worth of money because I’m telling you now that I’m his mate who was betrayed by him,” I said. “The only connection I had with the Lycan King was when I asked him for help because of Declan’s betrayal.” The rogues looked confused, and they began to murmur among themselves again. ”Well, if that’s the case, then we decline.”

Lucas teased her and she looked grumpier. "Yeah, he did succeed ain't he?" Lucas smiled at her. Even though she was stood up, she still curious on what happened to him. "Yes," he continue driving, "He became the Lycan King," Amara was too stunned to speak. "What?" she bit her lips, "It seems that I am really a hindrance to him." Lucas remained silent and continue driving. He couldn't tell her that when she left Regatier, Zach was in a mess and plotted revenge towards his family.

I ordered her out in the coldest voice I had, because if she had stayed one more second, she would have seen exactly what she'd done to me. The Lycan King had just run from a girl who weighed less than his sword. I turned on the tap and scrubbed the hand that had held her. I counted to thirty, like I always did. Then I stopped and stared at it. I didn't want to wash it off. That scared me more than any army ever had.

Pain flickered across her face. “No,” she said softly. “You carry what betrayal made of you.” The chamber went still. Cassian did not answer. The air between them felt old. Ancient. Personal in a way I did not understand. I looked from him to the queen. “What happened to him?” Cassian’s head snapped toward me. “No.” Queen Amara’s gaze softened. “The last Lycan king hid the Heart where no Alpha could reach it.” “In him,” I said. “Yes.”
