When Andrea first appeared in his life with her mother, Amelia, Killian hated her. Growing up, he was a small child who got picked on by bigger kids in the neighbourhood. His dislike for his step sister was instant but it took a serious turn when she started bullying him as well. She would push him, laugh at him and make fun of him.

Evelyn gave me a vicious kick. “Get up! Your little charade is over. My sister’s here, and my brother-in-law is on his way. She hates nothing more than people pretending to be her husband. The real one’s about to walk in. What excuse do you have left? You’re not going to claim you’re him now, are you?” She lifted her foot to kick me again, only for Valerie to shove her aside. The bodyguards surged forward instantly, crowding around me to check my injuries.

Allison turned furiously to go in too but I held her hand. She turned back to look at me. "Why are you holding my hand?, Let me go!" She yelled angrily. There were tears in her eyes. I breathed in." Allison, what have I ever done wrong to deserve you hating me this much? I just want us to be best friends and sisters. Is that too much to ask? "I said softly. Allison looked unbelievably at me. Was my sister. Do you hate her?" I didn’t answer. The doors slid open to our floor. I guided her out with a hand on her small back. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Helena… Anger? Shame? Hurt? "No. You always show up. That's not the same thing." I didn't have an answer. Liam leaned against the boards. The metal was cold. Condensation dripped down the glass. "You talked to your sister?" he asked. "Yeah." "How'd it go?" "She didn't forgive me. But she didn't kick me out either." "That's something." "That's what everyone keeps saying." "Because it's true." Liam crossed his arms. "You can't fix everything overnight. You just have to keep showing up." "That's what I'm trying to do."

I shrugged, returning the empty glass cup. "Just be patient with her and listen, okay?" She smiled. I returned the gesture with an added nod. "I didn't know you had a twin sister." She tried to brighten my mood. "Triplet sisters." I corrected, unable to help my laughter at the expression she wore after gaining the news. "Wow ! That must be crazy fun having people that look exactly like you." She clapped. I loved how amused she got just by knowing I had more identical sisters. "I know right?" I responded, deciding to take advantage of the time before Caramel showed up to know Ride a lot better. It could help with taking my mind off what I had to face eventually.
