Your World Cup, Not Mine Anymore
The man I once thought I could never tire of looking at, the most handsome man in the world.
Now, seeing him like this, he was nothing special.
He stood downstairs, waiting until I came home from work.
Before he could speak, his eyes reddened with tears:
"Jane, I miss you so much."
As he spoke, he stepped toward me, reaching out to embrace me.
I pushed him away, treating him like a stranger, cold and distant:
"How did you find this place? Please leave. Don't come here again."
"Let's not break up, okay?"
