The dormitory lights clicked off at eleven and I lay in the dark counting every breath like it might be the last one that still belonged to me. The key was warm in my palm. I kept running my thumb across the letters scratched into the metal and trying to decide what they meant now. T-O-B-Y. Either the most real thing in this place or the most carefully constructed lie I had ever been handed.

That was when I knew that his ridiculous methods to comfort me were used only on me. Myles treated me as more than a patient, and it had crossed the line of a doctor-patient relationship. I started to consider drawing a line between us and keeping my distance by visiting the hospital when he was not around, and getting his assistant to help with my rehabilitation instead. When Brent came in I was busy clearing a couple of things for work and I wanted to take some time off to just pull myself towards myself again and just breathe I've had enough trouble and enough problems to last me a whole month make it 6 months.

Hey readers I know I'm not giving proper updates to this book. I am extremely sorry about it. I have been quite busy because of my studies, and I have to wrap up my other story, "Love Me Again." The story has few chapters left, and then I'll continue another book in it with the story of next generation. So, I am focusing more on it as it's about to end. Soon, I'll come up with new chapters for Beyond The Time.

He gazed back at her, his eyes filled with love and admiration. For a moment, they simply stood there, lost in each other's embrace. As the sun begins to set, casting a warm orange glow over the bustling streets, we decide to round up our shopping adventure with coffee and pastries at Catherine's favorite café. Over hot cups of coffee and plates of sweet pastries, we share stories, gossip, and laughter, and jokes. The bond we shared had gotten stronger overtime and I'm really grateful to have them in my life. We all appreciate each other's company, finding a sense of belonging and camaraderie that I cherish greatly. As the night draws nearer, they all agree on dropping me at my house to ensure my safety which I deeply appreciate and afterwards we exchange goodbyes and hugs.
