The Alpha King’s Hidden Mate

The Alpha King’s Hidden Mate

The scent hits me like a slap to the face, and I fight the urge to cough. Marcus snorts, “You’re lying.” “I… yeah, I am.” Still, failure builds character and teaches us where we need to adjust and try again. The town’s enthusiasm made the failures easier, and as we pieced the business together, things started to work.

After the Rejection I Became His Luna

After the Rejection I Became His Luna

I let her cry for a while before speaking. "Sierra, do you know how many times I failed before I succeeded?" She looked up at me. "I challenged for Alpha position and lost. Got publicly humiliated. Had to retreat and rebuild. Tried to implement policies that backfired. Made strategic errors that cost wolves their positions. Failed over and over before I finally started getting it right." "But you eventually succeeded." "After years of failure. After learning what didn't work. After getting beaten down and having to rebuild repeatedly." I paused. "The difference between wolves who eventually succeed and wolves who don't isn't whether they fail. It's whether they learn from failure and try aga

The Forgotten Titan's Resurgence

The Forgotten Titan's Resurgence

Gideon was at a loss for words. It seemed Lucifer and his people could only leave their fate to God. "Goodbye." Gideon then shot into the sky, landing on the back of the overbeast, which then soared higher into the night sky. Orabella asked, "You failed?" He nodded. "It was never possible to begin with. Did you really think Samson would let Lucifer go? You think too much." Orabella bit her red lips. Seeing this, he consoled her, "Everyone has their fate. The Pope abandoned them. This is all the Pope's fault."

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

Mathias and Travis are close, closing in on Lamia and Kellen quickly when the ping of my arrow can be heard striking the daggers pummel. Mike stalls. Stopping dead in his tracks. A lull seemed to surround us, even the pelting rain seemed to quiet when the realization dawned on us that my arrow hadn’t done its job. It had hit the target but all it had done was pierce the stone on the end and shatter it. The stone that held Travis’s blood. The blood that aided the dagger in killing a god. We had failed. My knees are weak, and my mind is rattled. I had failed Lamia. I had failed the realm. I had failed Leneve.

The beginning of this book was hard, but then all the characters showed their strengths and it really wrapped Lamia’s part of the series up. The whole series was definately one of my favourites with strong female characters
Kristi Miller
Another Truly Amazing Book! Alas very sad that this series has come to an end but the ride through this time has been absolutely incredible. My hats off to a Wonderful Author. I highly recommend these books to anyone who loves adventure, heart break, betrayal, friendship, love and family.

The Bad Son-in-Law

The Bad Son-in-Law

I really believe in my analysis. I looked at the page of the Bible that had been opened, there came to the pages of Zephaniah's Gospel. "I think the violinists have weaknesses." Right now, the bible pages shift rapidly, opening and stopping at chapter three. "Not a strong and confident people, but a humble and weak people." It was Zeus's guess, but his handcuffs didn't come off. He looked at me suspiciously. "Zoey, don't do something..." Looks like he knows, if I know the answer to this game.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

None of the villagers at the base of the mountain had met a peaceful end. It reminded Aria of a fantasy novel she once read. In the story, a priest and his companions set out to retrieve the Holy Scripture. But the closer they got, the harder it became to fight off the demons. Even the priests guarding the Holy Scripture had their own demands. When the main group refused, they faced the final trial, and the Holy Scripture was lost to the water. When God learned of it, He didn't blame the two guardians. Instead, He rebuked the group, saying they should've tried harder and criticized their lack of tact and compromise.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

Can You Lend Me a Kiss?

Can You Lend Me a Kiss?

No… What could he do? Was he a failure? No...He had never failed in anything and he would never allow himself to lose. He was Kenny, the grandson of the Dawson family who never believed in failure. The word failure never existed in his dictionary and he wasn't going to introduce it to it.

My Ex Wants It After the Divorce

My Ex Wants It After the Divorce

Liana was surprised by their sudden entrance and said nonchalantly. "Liana, I know you can do it! You're the best." Ali's group, regardless, was very pleased. "So, in other words, you didn't succeed. A failure is a failure; don't try to call it by another name. How can you accomplish something that so many more capable experts have failed to do? So, before you break down the entire system, pay attention to the lesson of humility, or you might have even more to lose!" George smiled with sarcasm.

This book is one of a kind…well written full of suspense and thrill. Not a floppy romance story where the leading character always festured as an underdog, no backbone…at least Liliana is portrayed with integrity and humbleness .........
Elvyne Carantes
I CANNOT RATE THIS BOOK YET. I HAVE TO READ UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF IT. I HOPE IT WILL NOT REACH A THOUSAND CHAPTERS LIKE THE OTHERS THAT I'VE STARTED READING AND EVENTUALLY I STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE SCHEMES AND TWISTS WHICH DRAGGED THE STORY THAT MAKE IT BORING.

Mated to Three princes: And I hate it

Mated to Three princes: And I hate it

"Noble training doesn't equal worth. Character does. And you have more character in your little finger than she has in her entire body." "Plus she's boring," Kieran says. "Perfect is boring. You're interesting. Chaotic. Unexpected. Much better." I want to believe them. Want to ignore Vivian's words. But doubt creeps in anyway. "What if I fail?" I ask quietly. "Then you fail. And you get up. And you try again." Damon pulls me close. "That's what being Queen is. Trying. Failing. Learning. Growing. Nobody's perfect from day one."

Loving the Wrong Alpha

Loving the Wrong Alpha

So leave! "Brad, what are you gaining from all this?" "A peaceful mind !" "Like this! In such a place." "Aden, you weren't the one that let your people down, I am. I have always had a record of failure. I failed my dad, I failed Alpha Carl, failed my mother, failed Katrina, and I let everyone down. I wasn't there for any of them when it mattered most." "Brad," I called out to him, he looked so pitiful talking about his failures.
