He smiled at me and I didn't notice the teardrops are about to fall on my eyes. "My baby, My baby sister." He hug me tightly and I hug him back. My Hiro is back. My brother is back. I can't stop crying. All this time he's my brother? He's hiro? But how did he know? "I know you're curious on how do I know that we're siblings. I'll tell you that later, but now I need to clean your wounds." I nodded and we headed to his room.

The Beckham Brothers POV Rio entered the dimly lit room, his presence commanding attention as he addressed his six brothers, the notorious Beckham siblings who ruled over the underworld with an iron fist. Nick, Zion, Leo, Theo, Luca, and Dave, each as formidable as the next, turned their attention to Rio as he delivered his news. "I've found the snitch," Rio declared, his voice cutting through the silence like a knife. His brothers leaned in closer, anticipation crackling in the air as they awaited his revelation.

He inquired, tilting his head, and scrutinizing my reaction, and the expression he wore made my heart race ten times faster than before. Calm down, Hailey. You can do this. "Wrong. I'm twenty," I corrected him, noticing the hint of a tug at the corner of his full lips. "I'm twenty-six, Hailey," he reminded me, as if trying to nudge my memory. "So, with that six-year gap comes a certain right—that is, to discipline you..." His index finger unexpectedly traced the side of my face, and I involuntarily shuddered, pulling away. "I am your brother, after all. It's a brother's job to discipline their younger sister, don't you agree?"

Phoebe murmured, "That's a pretty delicate balance." Anthony was Hannah's young brother, but she would always be on her guard around him. "At least on the surface, they look like the perfect siblings," Brooke said, glancing at Phoebe. "Some things are left unsaid. Open the box, and even the strongest sibling bond would shatter." Phoebe met her eyes, her gaze deep and steady. Brooke continued, "Last time, Ms. Cooper mentioned that you have a younger brother, too. Are you two really close?"

Sloane called that night. "Heard about the letter," she said. "Are you okay?" "Define okay." "I'm coming over." "Don't. It's not safe." "Don't care. I'll be there in twenty." She hung up before I could argue. Sloane arrived with takeout and a bottle of wine. "You look like crap," she said. "Thanks." She sat down and poured us both glasses. "So," she said. "My brother showed up in a panic and left with his security team. Any idea what that's about?"

His hand swiped over it, and he stuck it into his mouth and licked it. “Hmm, tasty. I bet every part of you is.” His hand slipped under my short skirt, ripping my buttoned shirt apart. I tried to scream again until large hands pulled him back suddenly, followed by a blow. It was swift; I could barely see anything but black Derby shoes. I pulled back, this time able to take Kim into my arms and straighten myself. My best friend's brother, Kai, beat them to a pulp. One by one, they scurried out of there, each holding their broken neck or jaw.

“Future warrior king, too. Don’t forget that part.” As Eric spoke, Emma fell silent. Nearby, students who had begun to get out of their classes stopped, overhearing the exchange and murmuring amongst themselves. In this school, Adrian Almond was the strongest warrior; not Eric, despite his prowess back in high school. For now, at least. Growing up, though, my brother had been the strongest warrior in our entire pack. He was, of course, the son of an Alpha. My father spared no expenses when it came to Eric’s training, and it was obvious.

'What is your name dear,' I asked gently. 'My name is Luna and I am your brother's private whore,' she said with anger in her eyes. 'My brother?' I asked confused. 'Yes. He has your hair colour too,' she said. 'He is not my brother. We are from the council, we are here to save you,' I said. I was sure she was referring to the man with the golden lock as my brother. 'Really?' She asked surprise wiping every trace of anger from her eyes. 'Yes. So Luna I need you to lead your friends outside. There you will meet soldiers waiting for you

“He was my bestfriend.” “No,” she spat, stepping closer to me. Her henchmen grew even more violent, hissing like snakes as they surrounded me. “You were the one who dragged him away from his nest…from his fucking family. You influenced him and put ideas of living like a fucking wolf into his head. You took my little brother from me.” her voice cracked on the last word and her lip curled back over her fang. “And now he’s dead.” My ears rang and everything else zoomed out of concentration.

“End it, Isla. End whatever this is with Zayne before you destroy everything.” Destroy. The word hits like a truck. “I can’t just—” “You CAN,” she snaps. “You will.” I flinch. She notices, and some of her anger folds into sorrow. She sits on the edge of the bed, voice softer. “He’s my brother. You’re my best friend. If either of you gets hurt, I’m the idiot who let it happen.” My eyes burn. “No one planned to hurt anyone.” “Isla…” Sienna looks at me like she’s seeing right into the truth I’ve been running from.
