The Boy Who Fought With Bones

The Boy Who Fought With Bones

he explained. "What makes your body special then, Master?" asked Raider eagerly. "Pick one up and I'll tell you" said Master Bones with a slightly develish smile. Hearing these words, Raider's face became more solemn and his gaze returned to the left radius in front of him. He had a feeling this was his only shot, if this bone didn't move, none of them would. He slowly grabbed the bone in its middle and pulled towards himself.

The Remorse Deep in the Bones

The Remorse Deep in the Bones

Since these were real human bones, they could easily avoid being caught by claiming these bones as medical materials. Under my father's leadership, the gang's hideouts were uncovered one by one. The criminals kidnapped me for the sake of revenge. At that moment, my father snuck into their base and rescued me, as well as another girl who was also held captive. During our escape, the girl accidentally exposed our location, leading the gang to catch up with us. Sure enough, my father was brutally murdered and dismembered, while I was thrown off a cliff, breaking both legs and becoming permanently disabled.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

After a while, an incredible scene appeared. The bones that had been entangled with the warship suddenly began to sink. The white bones blocking the front of the warship kept sinking. Then, the warship, which had been forced to stop, began to sail toward the palace ahead. "These things... need to absorb vigor..." Silent Lion said in an extremely strange voice. What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

The Bartered Princess

The Bartered Princess

“I doubt it will be anything like that with the Prince Consort’s son.” The voyage dragged on, boring in some ways, sickening in others. She spent a lot of time leaning over the side. It was a day or so later that she saw the other ship with the plain black sail. Expecting it to catch up at some point or even pass them, she was surprised to find it stayed back. Was someone following them? However intently she peered, Beyla couldn’t see any Moorish figures among the crew. The men seemed bare-chested for the most part, though guttural songs were to be heard when dusk fell.

HALF BREED

HALF BREED

The corridor was momentarily clear. Chief Petty Officer Grinnell hollered "Now!" and began to run. Captain Tyson Salom followed. What began as a thin trail of blood droplets thickened and vanished under a body. The rating lay facedown. Loyalist? Mutineer? There was no way to tell. Half-congealed blood had adhered itself to the bottom of Salom's black high-tops. They made a scritching noise as she ran. Someone yelled, and she waited for the seemingly inevitable impact.

King of the Seditious

King of the Seditious

“Are you going to let her out?” Savage was standing at the bow staring across the Peril Sea knowing they’d soon be traversing into the Sea of Souls. A bleak, dark water where it was not unusual to find bodies floating. The corpses of those forlorn people who’d been cast or cast themselves from the Sourthern Vale Scarps. Savage's profile was as still and unreadable as always. “No.” “Whyever not?” RedBayne’s voice rose, and he waved his arms in agitation. “I’ve had many a slave and never was I so cruel to any of them as ye’re being to tha’ lass!”

The League of Rogues

The League of Rogues

The last five months had been an awful nightmare. But I've finally woken up. He brushed his lips over Anne's, tasting the sea and her tears. He vowed from that moment on, she would never cry again except from joy. * * * * * Ashton stood on the deck of the Black Lily, his captain, Ellis Bristow, beside him. "Close call, Lord Lennox. We almost didn't reach the Ranger in time." The captain, his hat tucked under one arm, watched the rolling waves, his sharp eyes missing nothing.
