Apparently, Charlie heard someone calling my name, too. “Madelyn！” It's clearer. It's like... ... Billy's voice! No, impossible! Charlie looked puzzled and pointed behind me. "Do you know him?" Billy, who was wearing a cap and dressed like a private detective, was actually standing behind me. Oh my moon goodness! I stood up and the chair scraped across the floor. "Billy! What are you doing here? Are you following me? " There was a flash of pain in Billy's eyes. "You said yesterday... you've been seeing a lot of different guys lately, so I..."

’ Warrd was about to leave him in the woods alone. ‘You're not gonna leave me here. Are you?’ He looked pitiable ‘Just watch me leave you here fat arse stranger, priest of the North, Doctor of Witches right ?’ Warrd expressed ‘Oh yeah, you got it right this time but please I am not a fat arse stranger. You can call me Billy. Yeah...Billy that's my name...Billy.’ ‘Bily is that a name or...’ Warrd was interrupted again. ‘No, it's not Bily, you had to get it correctly. It's Billy...like B I L L Y. ’

I turned toward the bed, only to see Billy emerging from beneath it. "What the hell?" I whispered, bewildered. Billy held up one finger, signaling me to wait. I glared at him, wondering if trusting him had been a monumental mistake. Suddenly, an alarm blared, and I covered my ears. "What the hell?" My eyes widened; the smoke might not be contained. "What did you do?" "Time to go!" Billy grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the window. Instead of the six shifters who had been stationed outside earlier, only one remained, waving at us. Though a bit rugged, I recognized the familiar form of Tony instantly.

I had gained some strength and I could walk on my own. "Who are you and where are you taking me?" I mumbled. Not expecting him to answer, I looked down at the cloth wound around my hand, it was already soaked with blood. "You will be fine," he said and I lifted up my head. "I am Billy, the assistant rep of the faculty of big cats… Hardin, instructed me to see to it that you are fine." At the mention of Hardin, I blinked and stuttered not knowing what to say nor think.

Yes, that silent and submissive creature from before had totally disappeared leaving her place to some kind of a fire-breathing dragon lady. “Oh, brother, you reaped what you have sown!” Billy said extremely amused. “I’ve told you not once, but a thousand times, to be careful how you’re treating Belle. But, as usual, you didn't listen! The great Shawn Grayson was knocked out by the little Isabelle Baldwin... I thought I had to defend her against your arrogance, but starting today, I will step aside and watch her crushing you down. That woman knows how to defend herself!” Billy turned to his father. “Dad, I will go to the office a little early this morning. So, I’ll see you later!”
