“I’m coming,” I said. “Prep extraction for Daichi. Keep eyes on Pandora. Don’t engage unless you have no choice.”
“Yes, sir.”
I hung up, mood sharp and electric.
Lucian.

Daichi gutted and barely breathing.

I turned back to Abel. He wheezed, blood leaking from the corner of his mouth.
I leaned down, voice low. “When I return, we begin the next phase. And trust me — it will hurt.”
