Little Bird
Reminding me why the Black family need to be wiped off the face of the planet like the stains that they are.
She steps back, nibbling on her lower lip, looking like a lost deer caught in headlights. “I get the feeling this conversation isn’t over?”
“Far from it, Little Bird,” I state firmly.
“Fair enough. We both have questions that only we can answer.” The corners of her mouth curl upwards, almost touching the corners of her eyes that are filled with remorse and sorrow.
I watch as she turns around and climbs into the bath, wincing in pain as she lowers herself into the water. A sense of wrath takes over my heart, making me thirsty for blood and vengeance.
