Kidnapped by the Alpha

Kidnapped by the Alpha

Alpha Ikenon sat in his chair in the main hall of the Pack’s house, his Luna, Marisa, by his side, her expression one of sorrow. I knew why I was here, and I knew my crime was punishable by death. I just couldn’t understand why they were whispering that I had been possessed. The hall erupted with complaints, everyone demanding I be killed immediately, while the Alpha called for calm and silence. I knew he didn’t wish to kill me; he didn’t look at me like the others, he didn’t seem afraid of me. “He killed my son. He turned into a black wolf… everyone knows where black wolves come from! They’re children of the Shadow Claws Pack, and everyone knows what they did against the Alpha King! He shou

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

Destiny was curious while Devin looked at the stranger in front of him with sharp cold eyes as if it didn't matter to him who he was; he didn’t show any expression, which amazed Old master Black. Old master Black grabbed his hand and spread his chubby hand palm. Devin tightly fisted his hand and refused to open it, but old master Black had his way of opening his fist and stared at his handline. The more he started it, the more his expression turned grave; he finally let go of Devin’s hand and stared at the boy with helplessness and pride. “Like father, like son, my lion now has his lion, hmm, good, good, it seems I don’t have to worry about my Black Dragon not having a descendant anymore; bo

Love the story but the beginning of each chapter the 1st page repeats what was from the last page of the last chapter, which isn’t fair when we are paying for chapters. If that was not happening and the spelling and some of the sentences were correctly written this would definitely be a 5star story.

she asked calmly. “Someone you don’t need to know… yet.” Salima chuckled, low and unimpressed, though a chill crept down her spine. “So you’re the one,” she said evenly. “The one haunting my family. My son.” A soft laugh crackled through the line. “Oh yes. Our perfect Roman Blackwood.” Her jaw tightened. “You have a lot of nerve,” she said. “Shooting my son. Stabbing his brother. All this drama just to feel important?”

Alpha’s Dark Redemption

Alpha’s Dark Redemption

He just hadn’t known it at the time. Because now he knew whose son he had taken. Blackwood. The name alone was enough to make even the most battle-hardened mercenaries hesitate. But this wasn’t just any Blackwood. It was him. The one whose reputation didn’t come from politics or tradition, but from raw, unchecked power. The kind of Alpha who didn’t lead by words but by dominance, by fear, by sheer bloody force. The one who once dismantled an entire underground syndicate in a single night just because one of their agents threatened a pack child. That was the man whose son now slept three feet away from where he stood.

I just entered a taxi real quick. Memories flooded me as I sat in the car. All the moments spent with Jeremy.Jeremy was tall with dark brown hair, a sharp jawline with a hint of stubble. His hazel-green eyes were my favorite features and his broad shoulders with bulky muscles. He was his father’s only son in charge of the multi billion dollar business across the majority of the states.

Hidden Fire in the Snow

Hidden Fire in the Snow

And within that violet fire appeared the massive figure of my father—the primal demon of the Moreno lineage. But the most terrifying sight was just behind the sun. Tearing through the infinite void of space emerged a massive swirl of black smoke, resembling a wingless dragon. That was the ‘Black Dragon’ army, infamous for devouring stars. My four-year-old son—Sona—instantly transformed the piece of metal in his hand into a massive laser gun. He was no longer speaking in Lucas’s voice; instead, a deep, ancient voice echoed from him. “Mother, get ready. Father is not missing—he is hidden within the fire of the sun, fighting your father. The Black Dragon army is coming to devour our sun, so tha

Abandoned By My Mate

Maybe he had been wrong to trust this meeting. Then a voice rang behind him, deep and familiar. “Nice to see you again so soon, my son.” Jace stopped mid-step, his shoulders stiffening as he turned, his eyes locking onto Blackwood’s. The older man stood with his usual dark presence, tall with broad shoulders and a wicked smirk. “I’m not your son, you monster,” Jace snapped, his voice sharp enough to carry his disdain. Blackwood laughed, not a loud one, but it passed through the space with unsettling confidence. “Oh, but I joined in raising you. That alone makes me a father in ways you’ll never understand.”

Carrying the Billionaire's Son

Carrying the Billionaire's Son

I asked, my voice barely a whisper. I could feel sweat breaking out on my neck. For the first time in my adult life, I had completely lost my composure. "I am seven years old, Silas Mercer. You do the math." I stood up so abruptly my chair scraped loudly against the floor. I didn't need a DNA test. The proof was sitting right there, wearing a backpack and judging me with my own eyes. This boy, this brilliant, terrifying little boy... is my son. I'm already a father?

Frequently Asked Questions

'The Black Cat' by Edgar Allan Poe features several compelling characters that contribute to its dark and haunting narrative. At its core is the unnamed narrator, a deeply flawed individual whose descent into madness is both tragic and unsettling. Initially, he is portrayed as an animal lover, especially with a fondness for his cat, Pluto. As the story unfolds, however, his character transforms dramatically due to his alcoholism, abuse, and guilt, creating a stark contrast between his former self and the man who eventually succumbs to violence and despair.

Pluto, the black cat, plays a crucial role in this tale, symbolizing both innocence and the supernatural. Initially, he is the narrator's beloved pet, but as the narrator spirals into madness, Pluto becomes a target for his irrational rage. The scene where the narrator gouges out one of Pluto's eyes not only marks a pivotal moment of insanity but also raises questions about guilt, punishment, and the supernatural. It’s haunting to think how Pluto might embody the narrator’s unacknowledged conscience, returning to haunt him as the story progresses.

There's also the second cat, the eerie creature with the white patch shaped like a gallows. This mysterious feline intensifies the psychological terror and adds to the supernatural elements. It serves as a constant reminder of the narrator’s guilt and the inescapable grip of fate. Each character deftly intertwines mental struggle, moral quandary, and horror, culminating in a story that lingers in the mind long after one has read it, driving home the profound themes of guilt and madness. It's a classic that showcases Poe's brilliant ability to explore the darkest corners of the human psyche with vivid imagery and unsettling emotions.
