I was stunned by what I saw. She was just as beautiful as the last time I saw her. She had on a sexy nightgown. I wondered if she had come to my house dressed like that. I wouldn't put it past her. She must have hoped I would be awake. Susan did not play fair. I averted my gaze from her body and looked at her face. I could see her eyes were swollen, and she had been crying. "Hey," I said, trying hard not to look at her see-through robe that showed sexy lingerie like a nightgown underneath it. It was black, and it had to be lace. Susan was unfair. I fought myself from grabbing her.

She could sense someone or something watching her, it was a weird presence and she couldn't quite pinpoint the position as it came from everywhere. 'Who could it possibly be?' Katie wondered, her eyes narrowing as she looked around. Her thoughts raced to make sense of the situation. But a voice interrupted her thought. "Katie," Oprah called. “What are you doing?" "Oh it's nothing, just taking in the view," Katie replied but Oprah noticed her unease. “Hmm, I don't think so. Maybe I should just take a peek,” Oprah said and her eyes glowed silver. Oprah was a Mindflayer and could read people's minds but it required eye contact, so Katie hurried to hide her face.

A woman stole from me? "Barely, she looked about twenty, not old enough to be out of school, to be honest. Her hair was black. As I said, one of her eyes was half blue, half green, and the other was all green. She was a pretty little thing, to be honest." He grins at me. "Okay, Mac, get Sawyer on it. Everyone should watch out for a woman with black hair in her early twenties or younger. Same eyes as her." Turning, I leave the cafe, knowing that we will find her. Unfortunately for her, her eyes are her downfall.

Amaya quickly shook her back to reality, wondering what had flashed through her mind at that instant. "What just happened?" Amaya questioned with wide eyes. Sophia was speechless, and could only stare at Amaya with shaky breaths. Amaya felt something amiss, but couldn't put her hands around it. Something didn't seem right with Sophia, but Amaya kept it to herself. She could no longer cry, she accepted her fate while plotting her revenge. "Let's go" she beckoned on Sophia, offering a hand which Sophia took. Amaya's eyes fell on the red fabric that lady Esme had thrown at her face earlier. She picked it up to look at it, and saw that it was a netty lingerie that was as good as no clothing.

"Breathe, Amora! You have to breathe through the contractions!" Susan Wayne moved quickly around the foot of the bed, her face pale and lined with deep exhaustion. Her sleeves were rolled up to her elbows, her hands covered in clean towels and herbal oils. As a high-ranking pack elder and a legendary healer, Susan had delivered hundreds of werewolf pups. But looking at the monitor sitting on the nightstand, her hands were visibly shaking.

Susan asked, turning to me, one eyebrow raised. “Absolutely,” I replied, forcing a smile. “I like that you take charge.” She smirked, satisfied with my answer. “Well, someone has to. This place needs a woman's touch. A real one.” I chuckled. Susan never held back her opinions. She was blunt, bold, and completely unfiltered. The opposite of Sarah, who always tiptoed around, trying not to upset anyone. Susan looked around again, her eyes landing on a painting hanging in the hallway. “And that,” she said, pointing at it, “that ugly thing needs to go.”

she said softly. “Lynx’s eyes,” assumed Hayden eagerly. “No,” she said sadly. Hayden’s face fell. “Describe them,” said Sprout. “The eyes? The whites of the eyes were bloodshot…,” she said, pausing. “And the eyes themselves?” Hayden prompted with another gentle shake of her shoulders. “They were black,” she said. “Dark brown, you mean?” he assumed. “No, completely black. The deepest colour I’ve ever seen. I’m certain,” she said.

Then one figure stepped forward into the moonlight. A woman. Tall. Dressed completely in black. Silver markings covered her throat and arms. And her eyes… Her eyes glowed the exact same silver as mine.

Susan stared at her reflection in the mirror. She was donning a beautiful black dress that clung to her upper body and flowy from the waist below. It reached just under her knees. She had tied her hair in a ponytail and did some smokey eye makeup. Just a little bit and it looked good on her. Grabbing her clutch she posed in front of the mirror. She looked so girlish. Susan rolled her eyes with a sigh. Today they were having dinner at Ethan's restaurant. Blair was the happiest when Susan told her she had decided to give him a chance and also he had invited them over.

She can’t help herself. “Susanna, I know you are in there somewhere. Fight it,” I coached, trying to get through to the real Susanna. Whoever that might be. “Susanna isn’t here anymore,” she said, a smile spreading across her thin lips. Her eyes were no longer blue, but completely black. Then an intense tint of gold outlined her pupils; she was looking unfamiliar. Like she was transforming before my eyes. “Erin! Watch out!!” I heard a roar coming from a distance.
