VALERIE POV So, I squinted my eyes in the direction of the voice and sure enough it was another one of Hudson’s cousins- Coco. I call her the black owl because of her insatiable need to always wear a black eyeshadow every single goddamned time.

I'm not afraid at all, because the wolf's hair is bluish-grey, it is not Nathan, the evil wolf who attacked me. "Oh, so you were the one talking to me all this time?" I said. I'm still sitting quietly. The wolf was getting closer to me, and when our eyes met each other, I fell in an uncertain feeling. The wolf's eyes were sky blue, beautiful and striking. I mean different from what I saw before. The eyes look shady but can also be sharp.

A tongue, she recalled, that could do wonders. Kris risked a sideways glance out of the corner of her eye and grinned at the dreamy look she was receiving. 'Whaaaat?' she lilted, wiping gently at Elena's thigh. Elena only shook her head slightly, looking away. Caught again. Her face heated, and she contented herself with focusing on the artwork hanging on the wall. On one, two crows perched on a grey wall. One had dark black eyes, the other yellowish. Both birds had black feathers with accents of blue. The yellow eyed bird had its head pushed gently on the chest of the other.

“If you ask them about it, you will have to tell them about seeing me. If you do that, I swear they will pack everything up and move. Meaning you will not see me for a while.” As he finished speaking, I noticed his eyes had gone bright red and you didn't hear the owls anymore. “I’ve always trusted you more than my parents so why would I ask them, since you have already said they have been lying to me.” When I looked away from Marcus, I noticed there were about 7 pairs of vibrant colored eyes surrounding us. Slowly another set appeared but were purple with gold specks.

I don't have to look up to see meet them at eye level, which means I am just as tall. Talking about eye level. Dimitri and Penelope have these insane gold eyes that I have never in my life seen another wolf have before. There aren't even any stories documenting this eye color so that has to mean it is specifically for the protectors of the warriors of the moon. You can see they have a shield on their hind legs which have to be their mark for being our protectors. Penelope has a shield made of black while Dimitri has one made of a dirty blonde color that matches my fur. Raven came into this weak and fragile, but you would never guess that from how powerful her wolf is. It's almost frightening

He groaned. Steam had filled the room, so when I was finally able to opened my eyes, Waylon was barely visible but his black eyes were clear as day.

As I go deeper into the woods, into a deeper part that I've never been to, I stop running. I then sense something, I'm not alone. I look around and spot a huge wolf. He's looking straight at me. His wolf is beautiful, he's light grey and white with a tad of dark grey mixed in some spots, and on top of that, he is the only wolf I've ever seen with such startling blue eyes. Then I caught his scent. It's amazing, but hard to describe. I lock eyes with him and everything starts to fall into place. My eyes go wide. I can feel my wolf going crazy wanting to be next to him.

“I'll rip your tongue out, son of a bitch.” Katie growled, but he only reacted by pressing his body even harder against her, which only fueled her need. Her own body was betraying her. “Who the hell are you?” he growled, his voice piercing her skin, giving her goosebumps. He was so close to her that she stared right into her silvery eyes, which were swirling with power; this wasn't normal, even for werewolves; eyes weren't meant to do that.

Her glowing yellow eyes blazed into Gera’s Gera was only a snowy owl because it fit her natural appearance best; most owl shifters were barn owls, brown-haired and black-eyed.
