Harper snapped, stepping into his path like a guardian.
“She is my mate,” Hudson growled, his golden eyes locking onto Avery’s. “This is a pack matter. Step aside, Bennett.”
Harper ground her teeth, but Avery gave a small nod. Harper stepped back, though her hand remained on the hilt of her dagger.
“I need you to return and film the close-ups,” Hudson commanded.
Avery stood like a mountain, unmoving. She signed her refusal with sharp, jagged movements.
“Obey me this once,” Hudson responded, a flicker of desperation crossing his features. “If you cooperate now...”
