Blacklight Bingo Novels & Stories

Through the darkness, Wilder's voice drifts toward us. “Contrary to what you think, Blackwood, I'm not completely unreasonable. I'm an Alpha too, you know. But if you want a piece of my time, you'll have to entertain me first.” “Ah, so you want us to play your little game?” I drawl. Neon lights suddenly flicker across the room in pulses of crimson, violet, and electric blue. The crowd roars louder as shadows move through the flashing lights. “How else are you going to get my attention?”

CLANG. "The terms of Code 14.2 are absolute," Vane declared. "A single game of five-minute blitz. White to Korean, Black to Cross. If Black wins, the High Table grants complete immunity, liquidates all corporate claims against Alonso & Cross, and cancels the Harlem execution order." "And if White wins?" I demanded, stepping beside Daniel. "If White wins," Vane said cold-blooded, "both of you will be executed on this floor, and the boy’s apartment will be raided before the sun rises. Do you accept the board?"

"Time check it's two minutes before twelve in the evening! This time when the clock strikes twelve, we will choose three pairs of lucky girls and boys for our game to play with us! Exciting right?" The crowd roared in excitement. "Less than one minute to go! Count with me! And...7! 6! 5! 4!" They are very lively. "3 !, 2 !, 1!" Exactly when they finished the countdown, the lights turned off, at once. The place was shrouded in complete darkness. Making us unable to see what is going on around. Only the occasional giggles and heavy breathings could be heard. I was shocked when someone suddenly grabbed the glass of cocktail I was holding. I would have appealed but someone thrust the glass back

- River lies on his couch, pondering the ceiling while E Business plays on the television set—showing an ad for some random moisturizer. He checks his phone, then lays it back on his chest, not even a grimace on his face for he was too weary. A second later, the advertisement finishes and begins playing live coverage of Sebastian Black, speaking to the press outside of the Black & Co. building.

Isolde brushed away the crumbs from his mouth with such care. The two of them looked so close, like they were in their own little world where no one else could step in. I tried to ignore the twist in my stomach and was about to walk away when a bunch of assassins in black jumped out of nowhere. I stepped back, asking them, "Who are you guys? What do you want?" The assassins looked at each other and then ran straight for me. Their hands gripped weapons with dark, poisoned blades—the same deadly poison that had hurt my dad!

Then, amidst the hushed crowd, a slow clap broke the silence. From the shadows, a figure in a black cloak stepped forward, his glasses glinting in the low light. His claps were slow yet loud, cutting through the silence like a sharp knife. My breath caught. That face; a pair of gorgeous monolid eyes that look like polished obsidians and his lips curved into a firm line—I can’t be mistaken, that’s one of the men I met during the Howling Night! Shit. Am I in a Bingo card or what? Why do I keep meeting those men?

It then next displayed when I bought my house and lived alone ever since. "It's not fair!" I whispered, tears squeezing out of my eyes. "It's the world, Becca. Black might be your brightest colour. Bullying might shield you from hurt, turns out hurt is your only lover." She whispered, too, nowhere to be seen. My mind flashed, invisible lights in the room flickering, dimming, the walls closing. What was happening? "Are you sure?" I heard her ask. "Sure of what? What's happening?" "Isn't there anyone who can turn your tables. Didn't you meet a certain him that made you feel different, alive? Loved?"

The connection snapped dead. "Line severed," Noah confirmed. Dominic adjusted his cuffs, pulling his leather jacket over his shoulders. "The digital ghost played his card. Get your guns ready, boys. It's time for the physical reception." Down in a dim room of the Crimson Lounge, thick cigar smoke hung heavy, mixing with the stench of cheap liquor. Bernardo sat rigid in a steel chair, staring at the glowing screen of his phone. Sweat was bleeding through his lip. Across the table, Carmine poured whiskey into a glass and slid it across the wood.

Aurora's stomach churned when she remembered that she saw the same light in the vacuum robot a few minutes ago. She looked at the machine roaming in the room and her eyebrows furrowed at the blink she caught. Raan's locket and Vaccum blinked at the same time. She looked at it carefully thinking she was overthinking but when the machine went out of the room, her locket stopped blinking. Aurora clasped her mouth when she understood what Rafael was doing.

It was irresistible, and even though I knew in my gut that it would lead to my untimely demise, I couldn't resist. I watched happily as she gracefully moved away from the girls who had approached her, and my breath caught in my chest as she sat down across from me. Our eyes were still locked when she downed her drink before she looked away and towards Jones. I turned to glare at the man who took her attention from me, but calmed when I saw Jones refill her drink from the bottle of Jose we had claimed for the table before he gathered the cards to start the next game. The chairs quickly filled as a random group of intoxicated party guests joined us. "Alright! Ladies and gentlemen, we are chang
