Rye spits. He and Blain hate each other. The thing is, no one really knows why or what caused them to hate each other. They have always hated each other. I just roll my eyes at Rye. Chris tells him just to ignore Blain. The other five are pureblood dragons. Draydon, Haze, and Coal are brothers. Blake is their cousin, and Xion has been with them for years now. “I see not everyone is here yet.” Coal announces.

Catalina’s POV. I was making Luca’s bed nice and neat, gently smoothing out the sheets while he was in the bathroom. The room was so still and quiet, which felt really different from all the thoughts racing around in my head. While I folded the blanket and set it neatly on the edge of the bed, I couldn’t help but notice the vanity table nearby. A piece of paper was there, a bit crumpled, with its edges curled from being held tightly. Feeling a bit curious, I picked it up and took a closer look at the drawing. A little boy with dark hair was holding hands with a blonde woman who had a bright, warm smile. A sleek black Maserati stood out in the background. My heart felt heavy.

He said. It was pretty much obvious everyone had black or dark brown hair, and I, on the other hand, the total opposite. Strawberry blonde. I didn't think much about it earlier on, but as I began to familiarize myself with the town, starting with the school — I realized it was absurd they all had the same hair colors and eyes. Not one single soul stood out. Well, until me. "Hi, I'm Sebastian, Seb for short." The nerdy boy spoke, stretching his hand forth for a handshake. Nerd alert.

*Blair’s Point of View* --- I woke up with the bright light making me close my eyes again. Fudge! When did I open my window? I opened my eyes again to scan my surroundings and noticed that I was not in my room. This room seems so familiar, though. Then I turned to my left side and... Hold on a second. Why is it that there's a blonde-haired girl beside me? Sh*t, where the fudge am I? I looked at the girl beside me, and I noticed that she's almost naked with just a blanket covering her body while her back is facing me. That's one hell of a sexy back.

This epilogue will continue in the next installment/book with the title ENCHANTING DARKNESS. This book will be Blair’s story. She will spearhead the second generation of the INTO THE DARKNESS Saga. Raven’s eyes blinked open, greeted by a blinding white light that seeped into the room. His body ached faintly. There was a dull soreness that felt more like a strange reminder than pain. For a moment, he stayed still, staring at the unfamiliar white ceiling above him. Geez, his thoughts were sluggish. His surroundings slowly came into focus. The bed he was lying on was pristine. The sheets were crisp and white. The walls around him were the same: blank, stark, almost clinical. Everything was white, without a single splash of color to soften the room’s seemingly sterile perfection.

You'd better tell me where he is now." "What? Is he the famous Xander Balstair, the prince merciless of rogue? " One of the girls seemed to know Xander or just might have heard of him. I don't know. "But why is he blind? He must be lying and pretending to be him!" Another girl hissed. They hissed too clearly for even my ears to catch. Why did they say that? Then when did Xander become blind?

A faint smile took its place when she caught sight of a book resting on top of the shelf right behind Blaze. The book was Skulduggery Pleasant, Until the End, the last in the series by Derek Landy. She has been reading Skulduggery Pleasant since she was in middle school. She got hooked on the series ever since she read the first book. “You can take whichever book you like.” Blaze said when he noticed her eyeing the new set of books he recently bought to fill up the remaining spaces on the book shelves. Blaze didn’t have to tell Lilith twice. She readily walked towards the book which piqued her curiosity and picked it off the bookshelf. It was brand new.
