Blazing Angels 2 Novels & Stories

I grabbed his hand and looked up at him, wishing for his pain to leave his handsome face. “You’re right,” I whispered softly to him. “Let’s go.” The pain didn’t leave, but I could see his muscles relax as he held my hand tightly. He took the sunglasses from atop his head and put them off as he stepped toward the door and opened it. “Tell him about your fucking husband, Stella!” Ace hollered behind us. “Tell him about Drake you fucking whore!” Hate crashed down upon me at Ace cruelness. I turned to say make a nasty retort, but Alaric gently pushed me out the door and into the blinding sunlight.

The look in his eyes is absolutely terrifying. There's no room for resistance. I'm trapped in a merciless grip. "You'll never leave me again, Tessa. I'm going to make you feel exactly what hell is in my arms, angel. I'll make you learn to enjoy this hell with me." The words echo in my ears as I'm drowning in a sea of darkness and despair. The contradiction isn't lost on me. Calling me angel while promising to put me through hell. So typical of Blaze to mix endearments with threats, to make his cruelty sound almost romantic.

While he was ill, I would take his life! The three Blazing Angels and the King of Killers attacked together! Would Yang Xiao really be killed by the four of them? Although he was forced to retreat, Yang Xiao's momentum was not the least bit decadent. "You think you can kill me? In your dreams! On this day next year, your graves will be full of weeds!" Swoosh! The Fifth Angel, Cabadole, sent a lashing kick at Yang Xiao’s shoulder like a ferocious dragon’s tail!

Luna Rayne says, as she too could sense that the angels were upon us, and we were running out of time. As Urijah opened the veil, he began to slowly pour his mother’s blood into the portal, and a beam of light began to glow from it, but as the beam of light began to glow brighter, it illuminated the skies, making me see that the angels were now upon us. With what little strength left in Luna Rayne, she conjured a ball of fire in her hand and released it to the skies, directing it right at the angels getting ready to descend upon us.

We drove the dagger and shard into the ground, light erupting, the cage shattering, the mirror collapsing, the void’s scream—my scream—mixing with hers, the shadow’s, as they vanished, not gone but pushed back, the chaos retreating, the cliffs stilling. We fell, Lucian catching me, Lyra beside us, the bond burning—us, alive, together. Killian and Mara staggered up, bloodied, wide-eyed. “Another one?” Killian gasped, his staff broken, his face pale. “How many damn Angels are there?” I clutched the dagger, the mark pulsing, Lyra’s shard glowing, the bond steadying me. “Four,” I said, my voice hoarse, the truth crushing me. “Lock, spark, flame, void. The Veil’s not just breaking—it’s us.”

We return fire, taking down several enemies with precise shots. Fuck. We should’ve just used guns. They're more convenient. I’m sure the cops will show up soon, but it won't be a problem with my power and position now. I don’t give a fuck. Angel uses his dual pistols to wipe out enemies on the left while Jack lands crushing punches and kicks to the ones on the right. They are my two wings. I love them. "I'm almost in position!" Angel yells above the gunfire. "Hold on there, guys," Jack shouts as he dodges the barrage.
