After a while of watching Alex’s progress, Blake pulls his girl to one of the empty beds, sitting against the wall with Lia between his outstretched legs, leaning onto his chest. The young human girl casually takes out the witch’s journal and reads it, ignoring the guards’ imploring looks. As Lia goes over the contents of Thalia’s journal, Blake glances over her shoulder, only to realize that he can see what’s written inside the small book. “Why can I read it?” He whispers into Lia’s ear.

She raises an eyebrow, indicating to Blaze that Dexter's nervousness around her amuses her. “Why not? You have been supporting me to bully him.” Blaze turns to face her, a hint of understanding in his eyes as he acknowledges the role they have played in bullying Dexter. A light chuckle escapes Alexa's lips, showcasing her enjoyment of their breakfast together on this day off from school. Their complicated relationship, built on a foundation of manipulation and power dynamics, seems to fuel their connection, creating an unusual bond between them.

It immediately sent waves to Athlea’s nipples. “F*ck.” The blonde gasped. Her head turned to the right, and her eyes fell on Athlea who froze still watching them quietly. “What are you doing? You pervert.” The blonde exclaimed. Xander’s eyes fell on Athlea, who still stood there frozen. A part of her was hurt, and another part wanted to keep on watching. Xander’s jaws clenched, then he pulled away from the blonde. He wakes slowly over to Athlea, then stopped.

I look down, and my eyes widen. Blood. "Xander?" I yell, or I think I do before everything goes black. ************ XANDER. The familiar Metalic scent of blood spreads through the room. I stand from my chair and walk to the bathroom door. I can hear the sound of the shower running but nothing else. I knock. "Brinley?" No answer. Fuck. I open the bathroom room, and my eyes widen at the scene in front of me. Brinley is lying on the shower floor unconscious, and blood is oozing from between her legs.

the woman whispered, her voice sounding hauntingly human against the mechanical roar of the system. Lyra Thorne stood frozen, her obsidian blade hovering inches from the woman’s chest. She felt the sensory reality of the "Reader"—not as a god, but as a "Consumer." The woman smelled of lavender laundry detergent and the metallic tang of a smartphone. She was the one who had "Subscribed" to Lyra’s pain. She was the reason the Forbidden Forest had been so cold.

Khali said. "You want me to check it?" Rye asked Khali said nothing, but she blushed. Rye was staring at the sea. Since it was dawn, the breeze was cold. They were silent for a few minutes and did not talk. "Am I boring?" Rye suddenly asked Khali turned to him. "Of course not. Why did you come up with that?" "I just thought about it." Rye just said. Khali wasn't saying anything; she averted her eyes from Rye. She loses control of her ability. She could read Rye's thoughts; it was as though her thoughts were breaking her heart. Khali's tears came out of thin air.

Alex and Hailey confront each other. Alex injures Hailey and bites her to drink her blood. POV is introduced.... Blake is still search for Alex and realize Hailey might be in danger. Alex was standing right in front of me and I was so scared. I had never been so scared in my life. His eyes were different, they were glowing red and I was shocked. He suddenly fell to the ground and I hesitated to help him. I was so scared, I didn't know what to think or expect... I was so scared.

Blaire even felt her knees weaken. “You!!!” “What are you doing here?!” Alexa screamed furiously, stepping up to Ale, followed by Blaire. “You want to seduce the Alpha again, don’t you?!” Alexa swung her hand toward Ale, but Ale caught it.
