Cellblock Heat

Cellblock Heat

Quincy The yard is electric. Even from the bench, I feel the air pulsing with each bounce of the ball on the concrete floor, with every sneaker gritting and every shout that echoes off the walls. Rows of inmates and guards fill the bleachers, their voices colliding into a single roar. It’s so loud I can’t hear myself think, which is a relief. For the first time since yesterday’s blood on the concrete, people are leaning forward, laughing, and living. Pretending they’re just fans.

The Clandestine Saga

The Clandestine Saga

But she didn’t ask because it seemed like the sort of question that had no answer. They arrived at the baseball diamond, and Grandma led them to a spot on the bottom row of the bleachers. A few others were watching, some munching on popcorn or corn dogs. A few children were playing in the grassy area between the home team and visitors seating areas. Everyone was smiling, and the scoreboard read that both the team in red and the team in blue were tied at zero in the bottom of the second inning.

Nanny and Her Four Alpha Bullies

Nanny and Her Four Alpha Bullies

They don’t seem to mind, though, so more power to them, I guess. Beau holds out his hand. “Stay near me. Going to be packed as hell in there. I don’t want to lose you.” I take his offered hand. I don’t particularly want to be lost. Beau pushes us through the pack of people and we squeeze through the door. Inside, I’m surprised to find a slew of bleacher seats all circled around a ring in the center. The stands are jam packed with people who all seem to be shouting and cheering. In the wall, there’s a man behind glass. Above him reads a sign, Place your bets.

It’s frustrating when an author starts a new book and posts it chapter by chapter yet never finishing all the other books she has posted. As of count now there are 7 completed books and 11 unfinished books. Not sure if she’s doing to make her readers mad or she’s ADHD and can’t focus. Very selfish!

What happened?? Why is this book not being updated?? I read for couple of months following regularly and all of a sudden you stop publishing, wasting my money, time and effort. This is totally unacceptable and wrong on your part.

The Tyrant alpha

The Tyrant alpha

I’m almost to the locker room when my attention is yanked to the side. Oh, wow. A sizzle zings through my veins. I stop in my tracks and my soles squeak. At the end of the stands, on the bottom row of the bleachers—just sitting there—is a line of phones, wireless earbuds, and smart watches. More than a dozen of them. It’s a good thing Nia, Pritchard, and the other scavengers are outside watching Bevan get his ass kicked. There is no way on earth that any of them would be able to resist this much booty. It’s a feast. Like someone left the bank vault wide open.

Maybe I'm investing more than I realize. AJ has no idea the trouble that I've gone through to get us here -- Oog wouldn't even give me a discount on the freaken tickets that no one, with normal functioning ears, would want to buy. The jerk also upped the price of the backstage passes just for me, on Gland's demand, so I had to skip on that one. AJ would have loved to meet them in person but I guess it's better that I spare her the disappointment. "That's not possible. They're brilliant!" AJ says, tugging me into the empty concert arena. There's literally only about ten, maybe twelve, other people inside -- one of them being FeeBee, the stupid blonde.

The Fifth Throne: Craving His Forbidden Sub

The Fifth Throne: Craving His Forbidden Sub

The floor looks like steel, enough to help maintain one’s stance but also easy to fall if you are not prepared. In the close by, there are bleachers to view and a glass dome above where one can watch the fight from upstairs. I do not know why I imagine Kael being there, looking down at me, watching me intently with that smirk on his face, the same smirk he wears all morning whilst making life uneasy for me. But well, perhaps I love it. I smack myself mentally as I place my attention back on Valois, only for it to be distracted again.

In a moment, they were at the central platform under the arch. From that point of view, this place looked amazing. A set of domed glass elevators lifted visitors from the platform to the gallery and observation deck on top. The elevator track was detached from the sides of the arch while the platform at the base formed a plaza in itself and was covered by a permanent tent anchored by cables to the sides of the arch.

I'm really enjoying the story of Jo and her journey, the novel is so realistic and easy to relate to. I haven't had such a good read in a while, definitely looking forward to reading more on Jo's journey.

slapping Cole on his shoulders I walked out of the cafeteria towards the bleachers . It looked almost choreographed the way I walked over to the bleachers , closely walking beside me was Conan and Lewis and Seth covered the rear . It must have been a sight because everyone attention was on us but this time I wasn't enjoying it as we walked over to the bleachers every single student was frozen in shock , apparently this was the usual hideout for the non popular kids and me trespassing their territory with Conan , Seth and Lewis was simply equivalent to Lord Voldemort turning up at the Weasley house

I like that finally she is starting to enjoy her school life a little, no more the "goody shoes" 😉that you used to call her😁. And about the grammar, Don't worry you're doing a great job. You are the first writer I found so good that I was waiting for you to update this story for almost 4 months 😊

This book is the perfect read. It has everything any great book you could ever want has. You will laugh, cry, root for characters, and despise others. It makes you feel of the emotions while still also still being a milder thriller. Thank you for this amazing story. Needs a part 2.

"Oh my gosh, this will be so great." "What?" "Sean will take care of you a lot in front of Clyde. I mean he always been a gentleman." "Take him! I don't like him and don't have an interest in dating and you know that!" "Oh come on, Beverly. I bet if Clyde ask you out, you will answer it with 1 word 3 letters.. a.k.a Yes!" "You watched too much gossip girl." "Oh Beverly, I wish there's someone just like Chuck. He's so dreamy and he and Blair are meant to be together." Becca said and I rolled my eyes.
