Destiny
He gave me a wicked smile, as if he had just read my mind.
"Now you remember, Destiny," he gave me a dirty glare, and I could feel shivers running down my spine. It gave me chills. I stood there, stunned. Was I going to give up this fight, I thought.
The images of June and Nixton's deaths played through my mind—their blood gushing out out of their head, their cries for help. June's last words hurt me the most.
"Destiny, help me," she whispered. I could still feel the pain she was going through at that moment. I wished I could have done something to save her, but I was utterly helpless. None of us could do anything.
