When Abhiman stepped into place before him, his voice carried a half-mocking lilt. “Sometimes you seem utterly mad to me.”
Ayman’s lips curved into a smirk. “You are my friend, Abhiman. And for a friend, it is inevitable that I trust blindly.”
Abhiman chuckled low, circling with noiseless steps. “You and your words…” He lunged without warning.
Steel rang out as Ayman turned sharply, meeting the strike with flawless precision. Abhiman attacked again; once more, the blindfolded prince held him at bay with unnerving ease.
