The jeans were the star of the outfit, though, loud in a soft way, like they were saying, yeah, I’m different—and that’s the point. Bianca regarded Jamie’s outfit with interest as she reclined comfortably. Suddenly aware of Bianca’s perusal, Jamie looked up, grinned, and went back to her playlist. Her jeans weren’t just clothes—they were a mood, a throwback, a DIY daydream that said she didn’t want to blend in. And in a sea of basic skinny jeans, she didn’t.
