A massive Lycan warrior swung a broadsword straight for a Vampire soldier’s neck. The Vampire didn’t even bother to draw a weapon. He just lifted a hand and a whip of glowing dark-red blood-magic snapped into existence from his palm, shattering the Lycan’s iron blade like it was brittle glass, then slicing clean through the warrior’s armor. “They’re using blood-magic!” Jace’s voice cut through everything.
