Today, Miss Kathy, or whatever her name is, is taking me back to Roxanne's. It's the most excellent hair salon for girls in town. I can't believe my dad is okay with spoiling me like this. When we enter the salon, I remember why I don't get my nails or hair done. The fumes of hell live in here. Every smell and every toxin I shouldn't breathe in exists in this room. It may look pleasant to the eyes, but the scent makes me want to run for the exit.
"Hello, you must be Lily." The old lady from my elementary years says. I can't believe she still works here.
