“Don’t talk about my aioli like that,” Rocky huffed, following him inside.
Alone, Minnie leaned back into her chair, letting the sea air brush her skin. For the first time since the night of the dinner disaster, she let herself exhale. The water glistened. Her mimosa sparkled. She felt… not okay, but breathing.
Still, something made her spine prickle. A tickle in the air. Like being watched.
