Rob Zombie Blossom Novels & Stories

wasn't just sprouting; it was exploding into a grotesque, beautiful Bloom of liquid shadow and silver starlight. "It... it has your face, Rhea," Zane whispered, his voice trembling as he backed away from the pulsing center of the Bloom. He didn't have his wolf to steady him; his human heart was thudding against his ribs like a trapped bird. "Why does it have your face?"

My heart was beating so fast I was sure they could hear it over the low thrum of music. "Gentlemen," Lorenzo began, his voice carrying that smooth authority that made people listen whether they wanted to or not. "I'd like you to meet Ellie Knight." He paused, and I felt his eyes on me even though I was staring at my hands folded in my lap. "She's officially a Black Rose now, under our protection." The words settled over the table like a heavy blanket. I didn't know what being a Black Rose meant, but from the way the three strangers straightened in their seats, it was clearly something significant. Something that changed how they looked at me.

"Romantic? I'm the type who never lets a slight go unanswered. "I'm actually curious to see how long Trevin, with his empty pockets, and his now-paralyzed Wren, can keep the flame alive." … "Paralyzed?" Edward's confused gaze met mine, and I could not help but chuckle as I pulled him down to sit and began to explain. "The night Trevin was detoxifying Wren, the two of them became intimate and went too far, causing them to miss the best chance to treat her legs. Now she's paralyzed. Without that emergency serum, she might not have made it at all."

I clenched my hands tighter as the pain in my palm seared. … I had no idea how long we walked for. The sun seemed to have climbed to its peak. I was finally allowed to remove the blindfold. Before me stretched a winding, narrow path that ended in a bottomless cave. Beside it stood a towering, ancient tree. Its scent of osmanthus drifted even from afar. The villagers said the tree had absorbed the essence of countless Blossom Brides. That was what made it so tall and fragrant. When we were thirty feet away from the cave, the procession abruptly stopped.

A drop of tear landed on the back of my hand. I ignored it and made a rose appear out of thin air just like a magician. "When we first started dating, you were nothing but a bouncer. The owner's enemies came looking for trouble. On Valentin's Day, you were severely injured and covered in blood. I was worried sick. I cried helplessly as I looked at your wounds. But what did you do? You pulled out a rose that you had been hiding, and it was covered in blood." Thomas chuckled as he took the rose from me.

It was such a beautiful moment that when I went down on one knee, I actually shed a tear! I grabbed the bouquet of the black roses from my side and smiled evilly. The black rose is a mysterious bloom that can convey many meanings. The color black has often been synonymous with death and mourning and is usually used at funerals. But black roses do have more meaning as well. They can stand for the beginning of new things and major changes. Dear darlo, I assure you that nightmares will become your reality. It will dance in front of you and with you constantly. It will also sing a lullaby for you in your sleep. It will never leave you alone.

‘Hey why are you walking like the dead ones’? ‘The dead ones?’ ivory asked with question marks all over her face ‘what are those, are they zombies’. ‘I don’t know what zom…be is but the dead ones are an army of dead people created by dark witches five hundred years ago, the dead walks pretty slow but one scratch from them and you’re one of them too’ Natasha explained. ‘Definitely zombies’ ivory murmured. ‘So why are you walking like the dead ones’ Natasha asked. ‘Would you join my team, I’m creating a team with whom I would go to Buklime Mountain with to go gather some herbs and more importantly the ice lotus for merit points’

Shayne held out a cake with candles on it, while Luna's son joyfully clapped. Zach continued, "And there's more good news. That annoying mom isn't here!" Luna couldn't help but laugh as she tapped his nose lightly. "You rascal." Zach then mysteriously said, "Mom, close your eyes." Thinking he wanted her to make a wish, Luna obediently closed her eyes, clasping her hands together as her beautiful red lips silently mouthed her wish. Once Zach was sure she couldn't see, he ran off to the bedroom and soon returned with a large bouquet of roses behind his back. The bouquet was so big that his small body could hardly conceal it.

She sent Ethan an article about the Higashiyama district in October, which Ethan forwarded to Valentina with one word: obvious. Valentina books Japan in March. Not the birthday — Rosa's birthday is the twentieth and Japan is in May, when the late spring light is doing what May light does in Kyoto, and the Higashiyama district is at the particular quality it has between the cherry blossoms and the summer heat. Two weeks. Valentina, Ethan, Clara, Rosa, Pep. Five people in a country that Pep knows and Valentina has been to, and Rosa has been circling for a year.

Scarlett whispered, her lips brushing Rose’s ear, “it’s time I kill Damon too.” Rose’s eyes widened in surprise, but she held still, her breath catching. Then, in a sudden move, Rose twisted beneath her, flipping their positions. Scarlett gasped, caught off guard. “Turn over,” Rose commanded, her voice low and firm. “Show me your ass.” Without hesitation, Scarlett complied, pressing her belly to the bed, her body pliant under Rose’s control. Rose straddled her, but instead of continuing their intimacy, she reached for something on the floor—Bob’s belt, forgotten in his hasty exit.
