But before he could finish his speech, I sat up and seized his long, ridiculous mustache, yanking him close. He stared at me in shock as I slammed my forehead into his face with a sickening crunch. Blood gushed from his broken nose as he crumpled to the ground.

My vision is swimming, but all I see is that calm, smug face. With a desperate cry, I lunge forward, swinging the heavy glass bottle in a wide arc aimed straight for him. I want to break that composure. But the blow never lands. A blur of motion hits from the side. A wall of muscle slams into my ribs, knocking the wind out of my lungs. I am tackled hard, hitting the freezing, wet ground before I can even blink. The bottle flies from my hand, shattering somewhere on the pavement with a sharp clink.

He stepped forward menacingly and I took a breath and made like I was going to speak. Then I head-butted him full in the face. No warning. I just braced my feet and snapped forward from the waist and crashed my forehead into his nose. It was perfectly done. Timing, force, impact. It was all there in full measure. Plus surprise. No one expects a head butt. It adds a kind of unhinged savagery like bringing a sawn-off shotgun to a knife fight.

A crack sounds under my knuckles as air whooshes out of his mouth. I pull my arm back, readying to deliver another blow, but he grabs my head and headbutts me with a thundering force, I groan in pain and stumble back. He runs forward again, trying to punch as I weave to the right, grabbing hold of his arm and throwing it over my shoulder. Pulling his wrist down, I move to break his elbow. He spins out of my hold and steps into me.

The ‘revived’ Wind Demons moved towards Red Rose with blank expressions – at least, the one that still its head screwed on tight. The Wind Demon which had its head cleanly knocked off was moving without a head while the one that had its neck shattered was jogging gallantly with its head hanging to its side. It did not look bothered in any way. As for the other two that were unharmed thus far, talking about them was unnecessary. They were obviously good enough to fight.

Then he gradually stared at me, smirking viscously. "Very well, Moore. If that's what you want. Blue Moon Kingdom is...MINE!" he threw an unexpected punch at my face which I dodged by stepping aside followed by my uppercut launch on his side, I heard some crack from his ribs as he was pushed probably three meters away. My wolf purred in pride. I was just warming up.

Within the blink of an eye, the only person who remained standing was the leader himself. "You'll pay for this, you twat!" he screamed, his face taut with white-hot fury. He grabbed a glass bottle and hurled it straight at Liam's head. He had struck with force enough to easily shatter Liam's head, especially because Liam made no move to dodge. He sneered as though he could already envision Liam's body crumpling to the ground, fatally wounded.
