My reasoning is because I was focusing on finishing off high school, had to deal with graduation and family matters, and most of all I was unmotivated and I have been. Yes, I know it sounds like an excuse but I'd rather write Blinded when I'm motivated rather than write crappy chapters that I don't enjoy writing. So for the month of June, I'm going to take a break from writing, find some sort of motivation, and overall figure out what direction I want Blinded to go. A strap tied his thick curls back, and he had secured an ancient-looking blade to his back. He was lethal. And as she watched his claws sink into the flesh of Alpha Kai's neck, she had never been more grateful. "She. Is. Mine." Evander snarled, his eyes shining yellow. A tarp now covered the shattered windows of the office, and someone had cleaned up most of the evidence of yesterday's saga. But as a fresh crack in the plaster appeared under Alpha Kai's body, a wave of guilt passed over Sapphira, and as Alpha Kai started to make a gurgling sound, her fingers found Evander's arm.

He was still wearing the mercenary’s tactical gear, which was ripped and stained with mud and river water. "Stabilization Room, now!" Kai barked, his voice carrying the weight of royalty. "Nightshade Concentrate. Alpha male. Two hundred and fifty pounds. Paralysis has set in." Two of the medics opened the back door and gently pulled Nash from my grip. I cried out as his hand fell from mine, hitting the leather seat with a dead thud. "Ma'am, you need to step back," a tall, broad-shouldered medic said, blocking my path.

He silently whispered to them. "How ugly." He triumphantly walked up to the launchpad, bumping into whatever and whoever, not necessarily caring. His eyebrow raised upon skimming through the board, smirking as he took notice of the Battle Royale. There were an array of teams joining, all in teams of six; apart from one. A lone player, with stats higher than anyone could imagine, though Uriel reckoned he could beat those 'weak numbers' in a few days. They go by the name of 'Blue', which already had Uriel convinced that that person was a twelve year old.

He took a deep breath and ran toward the medic and the ten men blocking his way. The medic glued himself to the wall in order to not get hit, Soko decided he would use the medic as a shield. The Medic panicked when Soko grabbed him and began punching his way through the warriors. The medic knew if he didn't do something that he was going to die, so he pulled the vial from his pocket, dropped to his knees and stabbed Soko with the serum. Soko's eyes widen as he looked down at the Medic then at the needle sticking out of his leg. He stumbled back feeling his vision begin to blur, his limbs weaken. “No, no, no, I have to get to my daughter, she needs my help.” Soko said trying to back away from
