She handed me a handkerchief, and I wiped the tears off my eyes, sniffing in gently so I'd get back to being normal. She passed me her perfume and also little pieces of candy inside little nylons. I chuckled as I took them. I alighted the car, and there were several wolf reporters around. They didn't come too close. They just took pictures. Unlike the human world, where I'd be swarmed already. Not far away from where I stood, I saw Blue. She was leaning by her car, wearing a blue gown that had a rose around the chest region. It was a short one that matched her aesthetics so well. I didn't realize I paused to stare until Allison tapped me.

Nora froze, shrinking under their stare and hugging herself, looking small and lost. "Pull yourselves together," Cain barked and slammed the trunk shut, the sound cracking like a gunshot. He stormed up the steps and placed himself between Nora and the staff. "Mrs. Gable. This is Nora Delaney. She is my guest, and will be staying with us for a while." “Nora?” Mrs. Gable blinked, her eyes darting between him and Nora. "But sir, surely you can see it. It's like looking at a ghost." "What is it doctor?" "Dahlia is having serious deficiency in iron. I don't know if you noticed the symptoms but she's facing difficulties in breathing. She's anemic. Her red blood cells are so low. I'll place her on an iron supplement and dietary plan. But i advise a blood transfusion as soon as possible. I also noticed she's an AB negative. That's a rare blood type, ma'am." I stopped hearing his voice, my eyes filled with tears. How is this possible? Dahlia eats healthy food. How can she be anemic to the point where she needs a blood transfusion? An Ian is the one with the AB negative blood type. I'm doomed.

Damian's pov As I stepped into the kitchen, the sight that greeted me was a blend of chaos and charm. Nora, my eight-year-old daughter, was standing on her tiptoes, trying to reach into a cabinet while Blue, the woman who had inexplicably turned my night into utter bliss, was packing a lunchbox. It was amusing to see Nora’s disdain for the task juxtaposed with her enthusiasm for watching Blue Bloods. She claimed it was as satisfying as ASMR, whatever that meant. I leaned against the wall, arms crossed, taking in the scene. Their interaction was a curious mix of playful bickering and warmth, and I found myself unable to look away from fromBlue.

Irina looked at Diaz hesitantly, she opened her mouth ready to talk, at the same time a soft knock sounded from the front door. Peeping who was on the other side of the door, Irina turned her sour face at Diaz. “This—” Her forefinger pointed at the close door. “That bothering me!” Nora knocked on the door hesitantly, she looked oddly surprise when Irina stood at the open door. “I live here. Remember?” She said. Diaz fought the urge to see how the look on Nora’s face. No wonder she didn’t have any female friend, he said inwardly. Nora said something in a soft and low voice which prevented him from eavesdropping. Then, he saw her pleading face.

"What do you want to know, Bloom?" I shrugged lightly. "Favourite colour—and movie?" Zac's eyes squinted as he chuckled. He hummed for a moment. "Blue and Pulp Fiction." I nodded slowly. "Why blue?" His head cocked to the side as he looked out ahead at the world sprawled out in front of us. "It reminds me of the ocean." I bit on my bottom lip to stop my smile from stretching miles. I would have never seen it coming—Zac Miller being soft and sentimental. It was endearing.

Chapter Two: SIGHTING Later that night, Rojean dolled up to go to a place that was both a nightclub and a bar that everyone was talking about. She was old enough, for sure, especially if she was going to get married soon. But she was never the kind of person to go out on the weekends, to a club or even a bar and always preferred the comfort of their apartment which Lucas didn’t mind at all even when he wanted to go out. She was in a cream coloured off shoulder dress which stopped mid-thigh and hugged her curves beautifully.

"I know Saffron has been hard at work on your gown, but I was hoping to change your mind." What came unfurling out of the bag when Wesley unzipped it took Esper's breath away. It was a gorgeous white and blue Victorian gown with a rose motif. The white bodice and overskirt had embroidered blue roses and white and blue fabric formed in the shape of roses sewn along the dress, and the underskirt was the same shade of blue as the roses on the main portion. "This is absolutely beautiful. Where did you find this?" Esper asked as she carefully inspected the dress.

Charlotte’s POV Saturday morning arrived fast, with sunlight streaming through the windows and the sound of Nora was already awake by the time my alarm went off, and I knew from the sound of her excited voice in the hallway that she likely had been up for at least an hour. I climbed out of bed and padded over to the closet, pulling out the sundress I’d laid out the night before. It was light blue with tiny white flowers printed across the fabric, casual enough for travel but still presentable. I’d just finished pulling it on when Nora burst into the room, already dressed in her own sundress. It was yellow with little daisies embroidered around the hem, and she’d paired it with her white sand

Clara Nora and I returned to her room. She didn’t talk at all during the walk from the healers to the mistress’ rooms. I supposed she didn’t know what to say. I certainly had no idea. “I’m getting out of this dress,” Nora announced when the door closed behind us. “Would you like to borrow a lounging robe?” I nodded. I still wasn’t used to the tightly laced intricate dresses I was expected to wear as a royal mistress. Nora ducked into her wardrobe room and returned with two soft wool lounging robes, one in blue and one in green. She offered me the green one and then turned so that I could help her out of the lacing on her gown.
