Maybe I am dreaming… yes, life has been so stressful recently and that is what is happening but that book keeps on grabbing my attention. Moving towards it, I see that the cover is practically made of crystal. It is so sparkly and I can’t resist touching it. As my hand drags along the book, I feel this longing towards it. As it were mine so I flip it open and a gust of wind hits me in the face and multiple images flashes in my mind.

After that he stood and left me in the room. Now barely an hour later he sends me a trunk full of books. Ella moved to stand behind me and I could hear her sharp intake of breath when her eyes landed on the books. "They're beautiful, right?" Ella only nodded her head and leaned down to touch the spines of one of the books. They weren't really books to be precise, well they were books but not really big ones, almost like journals, just bigger and fresher. What the hell happened to mine? Weren’t my books interesting enough? Did the covers not catch their eye? Was the blurb not strong enough? My exhaustion riddled eyes can’t believe what’s laid out before me while the recently uncovered book sits on my lap invitingly; I remain motionless as I ogle downwards in amazement at my recent discovery, shocked to my very core while I study its dust-caked cover. I blow a sharp gust of air towards the dated leather, hoping to clean it to no avail as only a small gathering of the collected debris comes away.
