POV: Blaze Ryder "You were always just a mistake, Rhea! A liability that we dragged through the snow because we were too weak to kill you when we had the chance!" Blaze’s voice cracked like a whip in the airless expanse of the Archive. He stood before the translucent girl on the star-throne, his chest heaving, his russet eyes burning with a forced, poisonous light. Every word felt like he was swallowing broken glass, but he pushed the bile down. He had to be convincing. He had to be the monster she needed him to be if she were ever going to break free of these cosmic shackles.

Blaze said to the pods as others watched sideways. "690056" "Copy that!" "He's asleep already, don't waist time. Roberto is almost there!" Vixen added as Venom inputed the pin. The door opened effortlessly and they scooped into the room. They met hellcat with the briefcase already. "How is he unconscious while you weren't!" Venom asked. "Not like you don't know that she's immune to some certain poison's!" Blaze replied and venom furrowed his brows. "I didn't ask you brazzier!"

Brody clapped a hand on his shoulder. “Trap that rat Ramirez tonight? Scout’s perched in the press box—Kane’s little puppet,” he grinned. Alex’s reply was simple, sharp, unmissable: For you, always. I don’t want to feel that way again. The door clicked shut again, and I glanced over my shoulder. “Are you done for the night?” I said, recognizing Isabella before she spoke. “Just one more round,” she said, leaning on a shelf. “You should’ve seen the guy at table 3 trying to flirt with the ice bucket.” I laughed, shaking my head while dipping another glass in water. “Next, he could start professing his love to his glass.” Isabella smiled. “At this point, if we put his brain in a bird, I bet it’s going to fly backwards.”

We hear growls and snarls as we get closer to where the rogues have been mostly contained. I concentrate on my powers, now radiating blue light I summon a barrier around the rogues. They begin to pound on the walls of the barrier. "FREEZE!!!!" I command with my alpha voice. they all stop in their tracks, "SHIFT!" I order. They comply even though they had no choice in the matter. Once I froze them I had control. I lowered the barrier, "Who sent you? SPEAK!" I commanded. "All we want is the Luna." one rogue replied.

“Hey, babe, I am over here.” I froze, my heart skipping a beat at the sound. That voice was unmistakable—smooth, deep, and dripping with confidence. I turned, and there he was. Blaze. He stood a few paces away, casually dressed in a dark shirt and jeans that looked effortlessly designer. His tousled hair caught the sunlight, and his signature smirk curled at the corners of his lips. It was the kind of smirk that made you want to punch him and kiss him simultaneously—and, God help me, it always got to me.

Alex said as he moved out of the waterfall. He set me on the ground after we reached the land. BOOM! There was a huge explosion causing me to stagger backward. Alex held me preventing my fall. Huge clouds of vapor erupted clouding our vision. The temperature rose higher and higher till it had reached a scalding level. Alex enveloped us in a shield of energy to protect us from the impact of detonation. When the clouds finally cleared there was nothing left. The waterfall had vaporized and the Fire Cube had vanished. It was as if there never had been a waterfall before.

Bob passed the Chalcedony Juice to Kayson, and the latter made Zidane ingest it at once before he repaired his tendons. After that, Kayson inspected what Bob had looted from Guardian Odele’s place. There were a good amount of herbs, some gold, cash, and bank cards. Kayson was in a good mood seeing the herbs and asked, “Bob, do you want to become a peak-level energy master?” Bob was thrilled. “Of course! Mr. Yarde, more than anything! But do I still have a chance?” Kayson’s grin was bright. “Sure do. There are a few herbs that strengthen the inner energy and tendons, more than enough for even grandmasters.

Close enough that only Leon could hear him. “Rookie, I'm being lenient because your eyes are too beautiful. They're just like my babe’s.” Leon nearly pulled his eyes away but managed and maintained his stance. Noa watched him for a bit for a reaction hoping he was Diamond but nothing. So he took it, he wasn’t him. “Another thing,” he continued, "If you want revenge,” he murmured, “earn it on the ice. Take the captain's badge from me.” His voice dropped even lower. His eyes flicked briefly down to Leon's clenched hand gripping his jersey.

"I want you to meet our new Beta, Gideon. He's going to help run some training drills today." I extended my hand to the new Beta, smiling, "It's nice to meet you, Beta Gideon." I said, and I meant it. Beta Gideon was nowhere as tall as Alpha Rhodes, but he was thick and stocky and clearly strong. He held a commanding presence, but his wide smile was reassuring and trustworthy. He had deep, espresso coloured skin and rich brown eyes, and his face was lined with age and laughter. I warmed to him immediately, grateful that not all of the new Alpha's pack was as frightening in stature as Jonas.
