“Um, thank you. Again. What about him alarmed you?” “Not any one specific thing,” Daniel answered. “A combination of things, really, but you can tell a lot just by a person's body language. Yours, right now, says you are getting comfortable around me. But by leaning away like you were with him, it said you wanted to get away from him. He, by leaning forward into your space, said he wanted to be nearer to you, whether you wanted him to or not. Looking at him closer, as I walked up, I noticed there was an edge and excitement to him when he thought you were nervous and alone.” “You mean, like prey?” She asked darkly.

I’d taught her myself, so I was intimately familiar with her style. Handwriting habits are notoriously difficult to change. Zelda’s handwriting had a slight leftward slant.
