Squeeze. The first shot was deafening. The bullet took a lumbering man in the forehead. His head snapped back, and he dropped like a puppet with its strings cut, a dark hole blossoming between his eyes. The second shot, the third. Each report was a physical shockwave in the confined space of the bridge.
