Silent Whispers of Love

Silent Whispers of Love

Her life in New York was a mix of new beginnings and old feelings, each day a step towards self-discovery. Jane spent her first winter in New York engrossed in her work and learning to live with the city's biting cold. The city, draped in a white blanket of snow, was a sight to behold. From ice-skating in Central Park to enjoying hot cocoa from street vendors, Jane was starting to fall in love with the city.

Dear Stepbrother

Dear Stepbrother

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * NEW YORK CITY * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * [ K A R A ] The New York air was cold and unforgiving, a clear reminder that the summer had ended. I never realized how much I didn't like living in New York City. There were no stars at night, just window lights from the skyscrapers. There were no secluded beaches I could run to, just the bodegas at every corner. And most of all, there was no Ryder Jake Williams. Period.

Ooqueah
I just finished reading the book now and I must say I have enjoyed every bit of it. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. I so loved Kara and Ry’s love story. Lots of laughters and tears but loved the happy ending. I hope there is a sequel.

This book has been one of my favorite books from you author. The love story of Ry and K is amazing. I would still read them from time to time and not get bored of their story. I love your writing especially on a romantic love story. So many emotions, laughter and tears.

Her last name, His claim

Her last name, His claim

I looked back at my menu and tried not to smile. New York was different from Paris. Paris had been romantic by design, but New York didn't care. New York had its own agenda and you either kept up or got out of the way, which was somehow its own kind of magic. I'd always loved it here. Even during the hard years, even when the apartment Enzo and I had shared felt more like a waiting room than a home, there was something about the energy of this city that made you feel like anything was still possible if you moved fast enough. Tonight it felt that way again.

THE BILLIONAIRES BROKEN HEIRESS

THE BILLIONAIRES BROKEN HEIRESS

Arghhh How many people would die in the meantime? How many more families would Antonio destroy while the commission debated "due process"? I pushed off the expensive sheets silk, probably thousand thread count, the kind of luxury I still wasn't used to and padded barefoot to the window. The city spread out below, New York waking up to another day of commerce and chaos and lives that had nothing to do with mafia politics. Normal people. Normal problems. I'd forgotten what that felt like. "Can't sleep either?"

A Billionaire's Tale

A Billionaire's Tale

A grin settled on her lips. “Oh, don’t mind me; I read lots of those kinds of books, but tell me, is that the case?” She rests her elbow on the table and waits for her response. She looked like a little child who asked if Santa can come in June as she waits for a positive response. “You really read a lot of those books.” Joan chuckled and then thought about telling Stacy her predicament and what led her to working here. She hasn’t discussed what happened with anyone aside from Camila and Henry, who has been by her side all through the mess.

The Tonali Brothers: Attractive and Dangerous.

The Tonali Brothers: Attractive and Dangerous.

She didn't move until she saw him leave the property. She returned to the room and looked around. There was nothing that made her feel at home. Not one object, or scent. She felt alien. (...) Manhattan was a chaotic city, full of traffic and crime of all kinds, at least that's how James, the chief journalist at the newspaper publishing house where he worked, labeled it, earning a limited salary that the city consumed in the blink of an eye.

The Rich also cry

The Rich also cry

CORPORATE ********************** CALEB’S POV *********************** Back to new-york, the city that never sleeps, everyone seems to be in a hurry to get to their destination. The always busy streets, the late nights, the clique of friends, the new and old lovers, everything seemed to be going on all at once in the great city and having lived here all my life I feel a special bond with it. I went straight to the office from the airport, my guards walked a considerable distance away from me as I did not want to draw attention to myself. Also, I wasn't ready to announce my new status to my in-laws, at least not yet.

Claiming Mr. Mafia [ Book 1 ]

Claiming Mr. Mafia [ Book 1 ]

I stretched out my hand and then started to take out my small notebook that I didn't show to others. Why would I show the content then for stocks? It is written there, which will go up and which will go down. How can I be sure? Information. I am good at gathering information. I used to gather it myself, but really, I have my men doing their work. Because that is who I am.

THE HOSTAGE'S DILEMMA

THE HOSTAGE'S DILEMMA

She laughed so loudly the walls seemed to shake with it. And I sat there at the table, staring at my untouched notebook, wondering why the sight of Noah so easily woven back into our lives made me both comforted…and uneasy. Because Noah was safe. Noah was familiar. But Noah had also been the one to push me toward New York in the first place. I wondered what would have happened if I had never gone to New York in the first place. Maybe my mom would be back here. Maybe I would have written my book because it was only rebellion that fueled my writing and seeing everywhere is oddly and terrifyingly calm, the drive to write slowly died. Even Aaron, who was my inspiration, was not close by. Everyon

Always is not Forever

Always is not Forever

"Especially the New York library. It was beautiful, just the type of place you would've loved." "Is it big?" She asked in a small voice. "Yes, and too elegant. I went there for you." I squeezed her a bit to make her see I didn't forget about her in New York, not even for a second. "Next time, we both will go together." I looked down at her tired eyes. "That city really never sleeps. Night feels like a day. And the nightlife is crazy there. Life is fast as if everyone is in hurry. It makes you feel sad about how they couldn't appreciate the things given to them."
