CEO's In Love

CEO's In Love

He placed the notebook on the counter, his long slender finger quickly tapping on the keyboard. Then he turned to her, "is this it?" "Yes, yes. Can you lift the notebook a bit higher. I can't see very well." She leaned forward slightly, her eyes focused on the screen as she recited "Remove the pear core, then add 4 to 6 pieces of rock sugar. Place it in a deep container, steam it for 15 minutes and then drizzle on top...." Willaims held tye notebook half raised, his gaze fixed on her. He remained silent, but the corner of his lips curled up slightly revealing a hint of interest.

Mated To The Rejected Omega

Mated To The Rejected Omega

“Lucas. You need treatment. I should get my assistant.” “It’s not important. I need you to look at something.” I said instead. “And what’s that you’ve got there?” I held out the book, my hands trembling slightly. “I found this in the woods. At the old woman’s cabin. It’s... it’s about potions. Specifically, a potion that can… well, you should see it. I’m really hoping you can create it.” He raised a skeptical eyebrow but took the book nonetheless. He opened it carefully, his eyes scanning the faded script and intricate diagrams. He flipped through the pages, his expression slowly changing from mild amusement to intense concentration. Finally, he stopped at the particular recipe, his brow fur

he says, leaning against the bar. “All right,” Andre says, glancing at the boss and then back to me. “The Goldfinch. Go. Ingredients.” I wrack my mind, wanting to get this right. “Also a whiskey cocktail,” I say fast, holding Andre’s gaze. He nods to me, just slightly, letting me know I’ve got the right start. “Elderflower liqueur, lemon, honey, and…the white of a quail egg?” I say the last one as a question because…I mean, I remember it being written on the page, but that just sound so gross…

the story is good, I like the characters, just with there were a few more povs from Christian and even the side characters like Frankie. there are a few typos and very few grammatical errors,so it is definitely one of the better online novels out there. the author really tries and is very talented.
Shay Evans

Alpha King Triplets' Second Chance

Alpha King Triplets' Second Chance

Beta's statement loosened my legs. I was made to take a few steps back until Zacharias caught me. I looked at the Alpha Kings in turn and concluded. "We have to search one more time," I said as I stared at the two thick books in my hands. I recognized one of them. It was a book that contained recipes for concocting potions. It was the book my aunt used often when she practiced her potion-making skills. The cover of this book had even stuck in my memory.

Then he scratched his head and said, "Your Majesty, I only had one Heart Tempering Pill with me. But I can make you one now if you want." The Queen was stunned, and her beautiful face was filled with confusion. "You mean the pill can be made?" There was no such thing as making a pill in the Roland Continent. "Yes!" Darryl nodded and then smiled at the maids. "If it's not too much trouble, can you bring me some ingredients? I need some lumbricus, yellow palm…" Within a few moments, Darryl had listed out all the ingredients. However, the maids stood there unmoving and looked at the Queen with confusion. They had all the ingredients in the palace, but how was it possible to create a pill out of

The choices we make

The choices we make

“Of course dear, you go ahead. If there is anything you need, you let us know.” Bettina said, looking up from her embroidery. “I will go and get your writing equipment.” Kopa said, going into the kitchen. When he came back, he had a stack of paper with him and a little wood box. “Here is your paper and inside the box you will find quills and ink. If you run out of anything, just let me know. You don’t need think about making it last. Use as much as you need,” he said handing it to her.

The Exiled Princess

The Exiled Princess

“You need something to write in.” “Write?” I repeated. “But I have no parchment.” He picked up a small book with blank pages. “This is a journal.” I touched the cover reverently. “A diary. To record my thoughts. But how do I write without a quill?” He held up a slim object. Shiny. Plastic. Suspicious. “This is a pen.” “Pen,” I said slowly. “It resembles a miniature weapon.” “It is not sharp.” “What does it use to write? Magic? Blood? Sap?”

RECLAIMING HIS REJECTED MATE

RECLAIMING HIS REJECTED MATE

My eyes locked onto the text properly this time as recognition hit me almost instantly, and my heart skipped. “I found it.” Levi moved closer immediately. “What is it?” I scanned through the page again quickly just to make sure I wasn’t rushing into false hope before I started listing ingredients almost breathlessly. “Ground silverleaf, burnt willow bark, dried feverroot, moon thistle extract…” Levi didn’t waste a second. By the time I finished listing everything, he was already calling for servants while I kept rereading the treatment over and over again in my head, terrified of missing even the smallest detail.

Cooking for a Cruel Queen

Cooking for a Cruel Queen

We were all young people of the modern era, making our way in the world. Who among us hadn't picked up a few simple, foolproof recipes from food bloggers? Besides, if the goal was to prepare dishes that could heal illnesses, that was even easier. The medical texts I could purchase from the system's marketplace—others could buy them too. When the queen remained silent for a long moment, the accountant finally lifted his head. Seeing that the person before him was me, a flash of resentment flickered in his eyes.

Bottles that contained with various liquid in different colors neatly arranged in every shelf. “They need the light this bright to determine the exact amount of each potion to make the right ink.” Lucas explained while leading Irina to the stairs in the corner room. “Why would the writers need different kind of ink? Aren’t they make the same book with the same kind of paper?” Asked Irina, her foot stepped on the stairs. The stairs had only six steps. Lucas had reached the upstairs when he heard Irina’s question. “Because the ink that would be sent to the Scholar-Dome is different from the ink that we use here to write ordinary book.”
