He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

The first bite was tender and smoky, and I ate slowly as I walked, savoring each mouthful as though it were a secret shared between the street and me. Further along, I passed an older woman standing outside a flower stall. She was arranging small bundles of chrysanthemums into paper cones, humming softly to herself. The flowers glowed under the lamplight, pale yellow and white against the darkening street. I stopped to look, and she met my eyes with a warm smile. “They last long,” she said, her voice accented but gentle. “Good for the home.” I nodded, though I did not buy any. “They’re beautiful,” I said simply.

The Awakening

The Awakening

“I don’t sleep much.” I should have stepped back, but I didn’t. The room seemed smaller with him in it, the walls pressing in as if to keep us close. He reached past me, plucking a worn leather-bound volume from the shelf. “This one,” he said, setting it on the table, “is worth losing sleep for.” It was an old history text, its pages brittle, the ink faded. He didn’t open it right away—just stood there, one hand resting on the cover, his gaze locked on me like he was searching for something.

Rise of the fated alpha pair

Rise of the fated alpha pair

I said, disappointed we hadn’t been able to interrogate anyone. My mother wasn’t deterred. “Reach out to the other packs while you are trying to get to the bottom of why.” She stood and walked over to the large wall of books. Thumbing over the spines, she pulled out a book and opened it carefully. I stood and peered inside. A dried flower lay on the pages, delicate and brittle. It was golden with five leaflets, the central three held above the rest. A jolt went through me. “Where did you get that?” My voice sounded hoarse, and she shot me a look.

Heart of blood and roses

Heart of blood and roses

everything was in the room. I kept walking but my fingers stopped once it reached a maroon book, it was thin as compared to other books and had no name on the side, something told me to look at it and I did. I removed the book from the bookshelf, it had nothing...no title, no author's name on its cover. I opened the book and the last thing I was expecting happened, the Red moon written in bold letters stared back at me. My eyes widened and I quickly started running my eyes on the page.

Healing The Rogue Alpha

Healing The Rogue Alpha

“This isn’t a ritual book…this is a record book.” “Record?” Emma frowned. “Like financial records? Daphne, if this is a spending book for the Shrine, we really shouldn’t be snooping around! Those are private!” All Daphne did in return, was place the book on the floor, right in the centre so all of us could read it…and the first paper had my heart literally leaping out of my chest. Flora Argentine. It was written in bold letters. “It’s a record…of the Shrine Maidens.”

Anything For You

Anything For You

Having left with nothing to say over this statement , Carol just nodded her head in agreement . The empress just wanted to read the book from beginning . But as she was just about to do it , she remembered the words of the man who was frequently visiting her dreams these days that she had to only read the contents of page No. 715 and the summon the P2 Guide Werewolf. Thus suppressing her curiosity , she just flipped the pages which were all blank and were dusky white in color giving off the appearance like the book was more than 20 centuries old. She didn't know up to where she had to scroll because there were not even the numbers over the pages. But as she was scrolling, abruptly there was

The Knight's Claimed Bride

The Knight's Claimed Bride

The leather was scuffed, the gold lettering half-burnt, but my heart recognized it before my mind did. Isabelle Rosewyn. On the Nature of Affection and Binding. My throat closed. My mother’s handwriting. Her book. I tugged it free and sank into the nearest chair, the guards exchanging awkward glances before standing directly behind me like looming gargoyles. I flipped pages with trembling fingers, breathing in the faint, smoky scent that hadn’t faded. Notes in her looping script lined the margins. And there, tucked between diagrams and herb lists— A page titled: On Love Philters.

The Vows We Fake

The Vows We Fake

“Zane,” I said quietly. He froze, hand on the knob. “Mr. Blackwood,” he corrected. Ouch. “Mr. Blackwood,” I echoed. I hesitated. My throat tightened. Why? I wanted to ask. Why are you pretending? Why are you doing to me? But all I said was, “Chrysanthemums? For the flowers?” “My bride loves chrysanthemums. Put enough of them.” He turned to face me. His voice was cold. “Do you have a problem with that?”

Too Late to Regret

Too Late to Regret

He asked her to pull over so he could grab a bouquet. Candice sat in the car and watched his back as he entered the shop, thinking—Could he be visiting a woman? Soon he came back. With a bouquet of… chrysanthemums? She thought her eyes were playing tricks on her. Who brings chrysanthemums to a hospital visit? When he got in, she peeked at the bouquet in the back seat. Oh wow. Actual chrysanthemums—yellow and white ones, too—wrapped in premium matte black paper. The whole thing screamed funeral chic.

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

“She … can … stop … time.” Caius’s brows rose higher and higher with each word. “She can stop time.” Knight slapped his phone down. On the screen was an internet search on various types of flowers. “Did you know there’s a type of chrysanthemum called chrysanthemum Anastasia?” I set the letter down and took another sip of whiskey. There wasn’t nearly enough to make me inebriated, but it did help take the edge off.

Dear Author, I love your books. I look forward to reading the rest of this one as you write. You have not updated this book in some time so I hope you and your family are ok. Thank you for sharing your imagination and vision.

the story is good and funny, but updates are only every 2 weeks or so. 230 chapters and still very far from any of the multiple problems being solved. So I guess, with only a few chapters per month the story will go on for another year or more.
