The Broken Warrior's Daughter

The Broken Warrior's Daughter

Her back is in shreds, but she’s alive and I know I need to get her to the pack hospital. I look around. It feels like the entire canyon was on fire with all the ash in the air. Cara’s power wiped out the remaining vampires. As I look around, many warriors on our side are getting up but on the other side, where Angel wasn’t able to block Cara’s aura, many wolves are unconscious. I’m hoping because they are part of Cara’s pack, that there is some level of protection offered them. As I watch, I see Anders walking over to Clint’s body. He falls to his knees beside his lifelong friend, pulling his dead body to his chest. I can see his body convulsing with his grief from here.

Cooper, you’re an absolutely amazing writer. I loved this book. I was addicted from the very first chapter. The plot you pen to paper is awesome. I’ve read many books and have ranked them as my favorite and/or number one. But you’ve outdone them all. I love you packed so much love in a small box

The Clandestine Saga

Christopher asked, stirring what appeared to be a pot of spaghetti on the stove. Before Grace could answer, the back door came bursting in, shards of glass flying across the room, peppering the couple with fragments. Grace threw her hands in front of her face to protect her eyes. When she pulled her arms down, she began to scream. Looking into the maniacal steel gray eyes, there was no doubt in her mind now that Jack Carol and his brother were Vampires. * * *

The Runaway Wife and Her Tabby Cat Prince

The Runaway Wife and Her Tabby Cat Prince

“So… you don’t deny being the person who killed her? You weren’t under anyone’s orders?” Carolus shook his head. “I didn’t have to do anything but watch. Yet I picked up that gun.” With that, Yuri got up from the seat. He didn’t say anything anymore. Since he left, Wolfram gave Carolus to the nurse and followed suit. Even when he did enter the same car as Yuri did, the eldest among them didn’t say anything anymore. Naturally, Wolfram didn’t say anything as well. … For the past few days, all Delta thought about was her brother. Now that Carolus was safely recovering in a hospital before being transferred to the outpost, she was faced with an alarming sinkhole. It seemed that Finlay’s descript

"So it's possible this Rovina had a hand in the mess. We should take her to the interrogation room after the funeral services. Eric." "I will do as you ask, Alpha," Eric replied. From a distance, the screech of a car and Kai's scent alerted me to his arrival, along with Caroline and her family. I rushed outside through the passageway, heading towards the other side of the forest on our Pack's land. There, I found Kai staring at me. I approached the car and found Caroline and her family unconscious, affected by wolfsbane.

The Silent Alpha Queen

The Silent Alpha Queen

Everyone turned to look at the entrance. I stood in the doorway beside Aiden, Jamie's loyal guard captain. I had on a simple linen dress, and my face had no makeup on. My appearance shattered the illusion of celebration. "E-Eve?" A young werewolf uttered in shock as if he'd seen a ghost. Carla's smile froze. Her eyes widened in disbelief. All color drained from her face. Trevor and the other elders looked even more horrified. "A-Aren't you supposed to be dead?" Carla shrieked.

Project Dakota: Rising of the dead

Project Dakota: Rising of the dead

Now, it was a gauntlet of the dead. I passed Mrs. Gable, the sweet, elderly woman who used to share her precious hoard of hard candies with the children. She was curled on her side, her floral-print housecoat soaked in blood, her sightless eyes staring at a crack in the wall. I passed Leo, a hulking, gentle giant who had been our best scavenger. He’d been cut down from behind, his massive frame collapsed in a heap, a pool of blood so wide I had to leap over it. With each familiar, lifeless face, my heart tightened another vicious notch, a fist of grief and terror clenching in my chest. A wave of nausea rose, bitter and hot, in my throat. I swallowed it down, my vision blurring with unshed te

he answered, turning her to face him. She didn’t meet his gaze, but the glimmer in her eyes was sharp—wounded and burning with restrained emotion. “We are what we are,” Carlos began, his voice echoing faintly in the high-ceilinged study as he guided her through the heavy oak doors and closed them behind him. “We are walking dead, beloved. Shadows. We don’t breathe. We don’t bleed. We don’t—” “Feel?” she snapped suddenly, her eyes locking onto his with a fire he had seen only once before—in another life, in another woman.

TEMPTING THE DEFENDER

TEMPTING THE DEFENDER

"If they found us here once, they'll find us again. We can't just wait for them to knock the door down." He turned at the door, his expression unreadable. "I don't plan on waiting. I plan on ending this. Stay put." Caro waited until she heard his footsteps fade down the hall before she moved. She couldn't just sit and wait to be a victim. She walked to the small vanity where her things had been placed and pulled out her father’s old leather-bound journal. She had memorized the riddles inside, but she felt there was something she was missing—a detail hidden in plain sight.

She thought she had been way too restless and was hallucinating for sure. “No, My lady. There isn’t any light.” Carol said. She was getting worried for the lady. “Carol, move closer to the book and try to read the words.” The lady kept her one hand at Carol's head passing a bit of her powers to her. Carol moved and crouched down to the level of that Heavenly book. As she was approaching the book, the vibrant light was becoming more tolerant and her eyes were adapting to it. Slowly, everything was clear and she could see the words imprinted.

Hazel replied, her expression reflecting worry. "Maybe he's on his way. Let's get you to the hospital," Ruben suggested. Upon reaching the hospital, Hazel's unease persisted. She messaged Ruben repeatedly, each response indicating that Wyatt hadn't returned. Disturbed by his absence, she observed the team of senior doctors hurrying toward the morgue. "What's happening?" Hazel asked Carol. "They found human bodies. And one of us killed them," Carol whispered. The revelation of human bodies marked by werewolf bites and Wyatt's mysterious disappearance left Hazel gripped by fear.
