The Dollmaker's Daughter at Christmas

The Dollmaker's Daughter at Christmas

Serendipity insisted, stabbing her paintbrush into the jar of water and dropping the doll head onto the table a little more violently than she should have. The housekeeper knew her far too well to believe that was the truth. “Yes, you have had a visitor!” Maevis insisted, both hands on her hips now as she took the two steps back over toward the table. “There’s a footprint on the floor, and it’s much too large for you or me!” With these words, she pointed in the direction of the muddy footprint, which was almost indiscernible in the dimly lit room--but it was there; she was sure of it.

Bloody Barbies

Bloody Barbies

she snapped, “I need to get back the shop before the boss has my head. Is this about the Bloody Barbies again?” Bloody Barbie was the nickname Maria gave to the murders ever since she’d gotten involved as a suspect. It was an apt name. Each crime scene that had been investigated was painted red with each victim’s blood, and in each one there would be a bloody doll left behind (though, not exactly a Barbie), no less than three feet away from the body.

CAKE's Evidence

CAKE's Evidence

Mom gave me a slight nod, “I will check the bedroom, restroom, and kitchen. You take the living, dining, and the garden.” “Alright!” I cheered and then we entered the house. In the living room, the first thing I noticed was her shoe rack. Each layer had three pairs but the top only had two. Chances are: (1) Dr. Celina was wearing those when she was murdered; (2) the murderer took it because it had their prints or DNA; (3) they just fancied it. My bet was on the second one.

Some Other Lifetimes

Some Other Lifetimes

I can feel my whole body trembling with the fear and the same time eagerness to unravel the things she's been keeping. So, this is the key to her old room the door opened immediately, and closing it behind me created a loud noise. A vintage dancing ballerina music box started to play its melody runs me a shiver as sweat formed in my hands dragging the dollhouse towards the light coming from the bedside lamp. Inserting the key into its hole damn! it opened widely revealing each part of the house from the look of it it seemed like a replica of this mansion the interior and ornaments say it all, flanked by rows of skeletal trees crowned in crimson, and on its threshold stood the delicate marble

A Murderer's Luck

A Murderer's Luck

Detective Sergio uttered as he grabbed a black pen and a small, leather notepad. "Of course." Alice stood up, feeling disappointed that she got nothing. She attended Candice's absurd Halloween party for half an hour, just to have nothing on Helena's case. Before she left with Thomas, her eyes landed on the detective's crime board. Helena's picture was plastered at the top, and it was connected with lots of red strings onto the other photos; Pete and Tarry Woodrows, Saint Clair Academy, Alice's own picture, and a black-haired boy with thick eyebrows and thin lips.

Ain Lubis
Hey, author!! Don't you dare ending the story.. haha I enjoy all the problems they're having and how they always find a way to solve their problem no matter how difficult it is. One problem solved, another problem comes up.. and another and another.
Nora de Guzman
I've read this up to hundreds then I get bored. almost the same as others, Fl is dumb, she don't face the problem, always jumping to conclusions. She don't even analyze everything. The only story am satisfied with is the FL in " three little guardian angel " I recommend this story.

THE ALPHA'S BETRAYAL

THE ALPHA'S BETRAYAL

All of them old, covered in dust. Then I saw something that made my blood freeze. Carlos's things. His leather gloves. A small knife he always carried. How did she get them? I moved deeper into the room. In the far corner, I found something that made me gasp. Dolls. Seven small dolls lined up on a shelf. They looked like real people. Like the guests who had stayed here. One doll had pins stuck all through its body. Another had its head cut off. A third had its arms and legs torn away. The others were damaged in different terrible ways.

A House of Lies

A House of Lies

Three days before Sheldon was supposed to leave the country, he mortgaged our house. He even helped us pack, moving me and the boys into a tiny one-room basement unit on the third floor down. It was barely 300 square feet and was damp, musty, and dark. Sheldon stood in the middle of that little room, talking to our sons as if he was giving some grand speech.
