Elliot smiled, “I’m sure it’s fine. Let’s eat.”
As we ate breakfast, I told him, “I’m in love with the kitchen.” He asked, “Do you like to cook?” I nodded, “I do. I try not to use my magic as much as possible. I like to use my own hands when I create.” He smiled, “I’m glad. As much as I love when you use magic, I’m glad you aren’t totally dependent on it. I love you with or without the whole ‘hocus pocus’ thing.” I laughed, “That is so twentieth century!” When we finished laughing, Elliot got a serious look on his face, “What happened to you for the last four years?
