World of Tomorrow

“Well, not for much longer. Justin tells me the weather in New York is still misbehaving, so the Committee’s set a closing date for October thirty-first. Sadly, they’re negotiating another year contract, but he tells me Whalen’s made enough of a mess of the thing that they’re hiring a banker to run it next year.” “Oh,” she breathed, her entire body relaxing under his skilled ministrations. “Where on earth did you learn to do that?” “Never you mind. Relax and enjoy it. Tell me about the rest of your day.” “You know there’s a Fair here too?” “Yes,” he grumbled. “I managed to convince Nevada to come to New York instead of coming here. Fine kettle of tea that turned out to be.” “It wasn’t your f

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

COLLECTION OF LUST AND LOVE

her ass canal. Three evenings later, a mumbling Herd Leonard was at the parlour door, satchel in hand, giving his halting good-byes to the Reverend Rolando and doing everything he could to avoid eye contact with Abegail. Right up until she'd seen Herd and that satchel, Abegail had been glowing. She had received the advertisements she'd sent. It was the year of the biggest world's fair of all time, or at least the year the fair was supposed to open in St. Louis, only one state to the east. The advertisements she'd received said that the fair could not open now until next year, 1904, because of all of the new buildings that would be built there. But Abegail hadn't cared. She was sure she was p

First Class Male

For the next six weeks, Rachel devoted herself to her extensive promotional schedule. She traveled the European Book Festival circuit, making personal appearances at every small town throughout Scotland and Germany and attended numerous booksigning events in London and Paris. She returned to the States as guest speaker at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, then flew on to personally meet booksellers at Chicago’s BookExpo America and represent Prelude Press at the American Booksellers Association Convention. During the final conference presentations, it was announced that Legal Briefs had received the National Book Foundation’s award in New Fiction. She flew to New York City on the next

Second Chance At Rebirth: Beneath The Ashes

Second Chance At Rebirth: Beneath The Ashes

“What do you mean?” She tapped her tablet again. “With Zane out of the picture, there’s a vacuum in the market. Everyone’s looking for the next big thing, and you’re perfectly positioned to deliver it.” She paused and she stepped forward. “There’s a business fair this weekend at the convention center downtown. Innovators, startups, inventors, they’ll all be there, showcasing their projects. It’s a goldmine, ma’am. Find something worth investing in, and you could lock in partnerships that’ll put Cristainternational on the map.” My heart gave a quick, eager thud. A business fair. A chance to discover something fresh, something groundbreaking, and claim it as my own. “Where is it?” I asked, alr

Bonded to the Alpha Twins

Bonded to the Alpha Twins

“The reason we have called you all is to announce an annual book fair solely sponsored by the Armani Holdings and organised by Woods Publishing. It’s an opportunity for amateurs and seasoned writers to advertise their books, gain readers and have lively interaction with them. Unlike the other book fairs, this will be a weekend affair with exciting activities for both the readers and writers in hopes of inspiring their passion. The best part about this is we will have a separate section for the pups with games and engaging activities. At the end of this fair, we will also be having a lucky draw for both the groups—readers and writers with some exciting prizes. All the details will be updated

Breaking Free from the Billionaire

Breaking Free from the Billionaire

"We'll also go to the publisher's fair. You'll love it too!" "Publisher's fair?" Amelia shook her head, a confused look on her face. "What's that place?" "It's a place where book publishing companies gather. Whether it's to promote the launch of a new book, meet and greet with famous authors, and so on. And the company I work for will be making a special announcement, so I hope you'll come along." "It looks like an interesting place," Amelia nodded with a serious face that contrasted with her childish face, making her look adorable.

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

The Brian Worldwide ball, held annually, was a work of art in controlled spectacle. It happened in the city's top hotel's grand ballroom, a grand room filled with crystal and gold leaf, packed with the eastern seaboard's most influential and beautiful people. It was a night on which deals were cut in tones and handshakes, on which weddings were negotiated over champagne glasses, and on which the magnificence of Joe Brian's empire was presented in dazzling, breathtaking fashion.

A Bride’s Revenge: No Longer the Backup

He said, "At least you seem to know what's good for you. So, show me. How exactly are you going to beg me for mercy, then?" Brian got up and sat down on the couch nearby. He then took the wine from the table and waited for Ariana to grovel on her knees. However, Ariana just got up from the bed and said slowly, "Welton Factory, Central City. There's a monthly overseas trade fair there, and I remember that Lodge Co. has a huge auction hall in that area. Tens of billions of dollars worth of prized items are being traded there every year. Mr. Lodge, I'm sure that you're very familiar with this, aren't you?"

This novel seems to be rushly, not contentedly completed! there are some unresolved issues yet need to be tackled, although the Author dragged already for too long with so many irrelevant episodes that can actually be skipped off! thinking n planning of too many situations sometimes lost your focus

is this the only story the author write? anyway. the story is real good tho i thought the books is just starting to spice things up. it leaves too many questions. like what's the real motive of victor. will Ariana reveal herself as susan. williams team up with ariana how ill it be. even to evelyn.

A Human Mate For The Lycan King

A Human Mate For The Lycan King

I told myself again. If I had waited to explain it to him, I wouldn't have hurt him the way I did. Thinking about that night brought some kind of shame I wasn't ready to face yet. We finally got to the fair, and it was a beauty to behold. I felt like I had stepped into a fantasy land that was just as active as anything else. Others were performing a play at the center of a gathering. There was a tent filled with used books that were for sale for as little as a dollar. There was also a smoothie truck that had delicious smoothies.
