Chapter Fifty-Four I knew he was right, but that didn’t make it any easier. He stood, buttoning his shirt up before helping me slip on my sandals. “Do you need water?” Moana only nodded. She still seemed too stunned to speak, so I decided to get her seated at our table and get her something cold to drink. There would be meals provided later, as well as live entertainment, but for now people were socializing before the show and our only option was the open bar.

Around 4:20, the entire lodge looked like it had just hosted a family retreat that had made several poor activity choices. Tiny shoes were scattered near the mudroom because apparently Gabby had needed two pairs for one trip to the lake. Three wet towels hung over the back railing. Al’s backpack lay open on the floor with his whale shark halfway out, one pinecone inside, and enough rocks to start an illegal landscaping business. Kendra was asleep half-sitting at the end of the sectional with her hood pulled over her eyes, while I stood in the foyer checking my phone and trying to summon the energy for a five-hour drive back to San Francisco.

The first whole week was our busiest. We ventured out throughout the island, sightseeing, visiting the Oahu Circle Island in Waikiki, the Pearl Harbor memorial, and the Dole plantation, where they have the tastiest Dole ice cream. Other activities on the list were going to the Kualoa Ranch with a two-hour submarine tour of Atlantis, an ATV ride for a Raptor Tour where Jurassic Park was filmed, and we did parasailing. Then yesterday, we all had dinner at Chief's Luau, where food and a Hula show were presented. I've seen Luaus, but nothing like this. We had a blast the first five days of our vacation, except for the constant argument between Jordan and Ares. No matter where we go, the fighting

It's a long flight but I don't know if this worth it or not. After feeling like a year in the plane, we finally arrive at the destination. Bora Bora Island. "We're at Bora Bora!" Manuela wondered before turning on her side and falling asleep. The next morning, Manuela woke up early, showered, and put on a floral print off-shoulder dress, which Uno had bought for her. Underneath, she wore a red one-piece swimsuit, planning to swim in the ocean. Her short hair was loose, and she wore flat sandals for her first day exploring Honolulu. She decided to go to Waikiki Beach first and, since she wouldn't be alone, booked a car for the whole day. She didn't want to use the car they'd used to get to the inn, fearing she might get lost.

Rafe asks, confused. “No,” Alvin says, rolling his eyes at Rafe. “Ian told me. In our minds.” He squints his eyes a little, concentrating hard. “It’s hard to tell, because it’s mostly pictures, this far away.” He concentrates harder. “But they’re at a beach…Rock something? Rock…” “Rockport?” Bridgette offers, saying the name of a tourist town about five hours south. “Yes!” Alvin says, throwing up his hands in celebration. “That’s it!”

Alan had booked this for only him and Ashley because he wanted this honeymoon to be a special one if it would be one of the things she would hold onto for 2 years. They boarded the helicopter and their tourism started, this lasted for over an hour. They were going to see the highlight of west Maui, then fly across Palilo Channel to discover Hawaii's tallest waterfalls along Molakia's remote and isolated north shore and capture the world's steepest sea cliff before returning through the heart of west Maui mountain. Ashley definitely didn't forget to take pictures of everywhere and everything the tourist guide showed them, she even took a photo with Alan for memory's sake.
