PROFESSOR GREY'S GIRL

PROFESSOR GREY'S GIRL

She lipped out low. “But I’m here to offer you the redemption your so-called people couldn’t give you, Julianna. I will give you the education you want and your life will return to normal. You don’t need those fuckers who claim to care about you, because you know the truth? They don’t fucking care.” My manipulation was an art that could work on anyone. Just with the right words, I could have things running in your head. And in her case, it was working already, because she wavered. “You care about me?”

The Billionaire’s Regret: Chasing His Ex wife

The Billionaire’s Regret: Chasing His Ex wife

Big time. I need a new approach desperately. I need something that will make her see me in a different light. Something that'll make her run back to me like she used to. Something... Aha! The Damascus Road method. It all goes down to manipulation. I'm sorry, Amelia, but I must do you his, or I'll never have you. I reached out for my iPad on the bedside table. I had a book that talked about this persuasion technique. If you want to make someone believe you have a sudden change of heart, then this book was the one for you. I saw it online, and now I'm glad I bought it.

The Ex-Wife Seeks Revenge

The Ex-Wife Seeks Revenge

“I don't know, Manuel. What if I screw up again? What if she sees through me? She's smart, you know.” He sighed, “I have to admit that you are not in your prime, Nathan. I don't understand how she ever fell for your ridiculous facade.” “Hey!” He laughed, “No offense intended, my friend.” My fists clenched. This was all so… humiliating. But what choice did I have? “Alright, alright,” I said, defeated. “What do I have to do?” Manuel’s smile returned, and he started to explain. His words, a detailed instruction manual for manipulation, deception, and… seduction? made my stomach churn.

Worthless to Priceless: The Alpha's Rejected Mate

Worthless to Priceless: The Alpha's Rejected Mate

The older texts were further into the library while the newer ones were closer to the entrance. I found a book on mating that looked to be very old so I settled in a chair and began to flip through the pages. The beginning was most of what I already knew but I saw something that caught my eye. It wasn’t what I was looking for but it was something about bond manipulation where you could use your mate bond into manipulating your partner. It sounded evil and dangerous so I quickly flipped past it. I didn’t see anything about bonds that were not completely broken and I couldn’t help but get frustrated. I slammed the book harder than I should have and buried my head in my hands. My wolf had been

This was such an amazingly interesting story. Right up until the end. Did you get tired of writing it? Were you unsure of where else the story was headed? I feel like things were going great and then <BAM!> brick wall. Epilogue… the end. So many loose ends left unanswered. Loved it regardless.

The Mafia’s possession

The Mafia’s possession

she asked. He nodded toward the dining table. Profiles, photographs, and handwritten notes covered the surface. “Charm. Start with charm. Men like them crave attention. Make them feel understood. They’ll talk,” he explained. Lillian swallowed hard. They just arrived in Paris, and Alex is just all about business. But she has no choice. “And after charm?” she asked “Manipulation,” he said bluntly. “The kind they won’t see coming.” “So I’m spying on them?”

The Substitute Bride's Bargain

The Substitute Bride's Bargain

The study. She stood near the door of the study in the grey sweater and she held the word — coercion — and she felt it sit in her chest in the specific way of a word that is accurate, that has the weight of accuracy, that does not feel better or worse than the thing it names because it simply is the name of the thing. She thought: I used the word manipulation this morning. She thought: coercion is the legal form of manipulation. She thought: he said yes. He said you're right. He said I would do it again but I would find another way.

Ruining Draco

Ruining Draco

Body language, the subtle art of conversation control, the weight of eye contact, and the cold science of psychological manipulation. I learned how to attract attention without clamoring for it, and how to redirect it when it became too focused. I learned how to be memorable enough to be invited into the inner sanctum, but forgettable enough to be dismissed as a threat. At first, I resisted. Everything about it felt dishonest, a violation of the person I had been. But eventually, the lesson clicked. It wasn't about being a liar; it was about power. Not the loud, volatile power held at gunpoint, but the quiet, insidious kind—the power of influence, the kind that steers a conversation and shif

The Bookstore Temptation

The Bookstore Temptation

Somewhere in the city—several stories above, in a steel and glass building—Julian Blackwood lay in his dark, sleek bedroom, staring at the book she had given him. He'd never intended to keep it. When Lena Carter had offered it to him—those gentle words, that thoughtful crease between her eyebrows—he'd intended to refuse. But something in her eyes had taken away his intention. It was neither flirting nor pretense. It was genuine. Silent. Generous. He hated kindness. It broke things open. Julian gazed down at the book. The cover was unadorned, the title in gold print: *A Man Called Ove*. He remembered Lena's words:

ECHOES OF TRUTH

ECHOES OF TRUTH

Please, doctor, if he knows anything, even the slightest thing that can help me find that monster, I want to know. Dr. Altman sat in the chair next to me, his body turned toward me. "Anna, he probably told you all that with this goal: to make you come back to him. Manipulation is one of his strong suits; he can get inside your head and play with you. That's how he gets satisfaction." Manipulate... Satisfaction from playing with people... Psychopath? I remembered when I researched that term for my guidance class in high school. -Is he a psychopath?

Wounded and Bounded

Wounded and Bounded

I continued to speak to myself until I settled upon the decision; that I would continue with the debate with myself later on and help Mary first. "What powers should she be given? Invisibility? Mind reading? Ughhh! I am gone crazy! Wait, the book!" I turned around to go back to my room and get the book for the guidance but then something stopped me. The book was already there, on the ground. 'It wasn't here before.' I thought to myself. Ignoring how it got there, I bent down and picked it up. Without wasting a further minute, I began turning over the pages until my sight landed on a heading saying, 'The Manipulation Powers.'
