Sa kabila ng sakit na narasan niya, ang araw na pinanganak niya ang kanyang anak ay isa sa mga masasayang araw sa buhay niya. Nong makita niya anak niya naging malakas siya at hinding hindi na hahayaan ang sariling masaktan sa mga taong nakapaligid sakanya. Sinuyo siya ng kanyang asawa hanggang sa lumambot siya at nagsimula siyang makagusto sa lalaki hanggang sa natibag ng lalaki ang pader na tinayo niya para sakanila ng anak niya.. pero nangako ang asawa niyang sabay nilang haharapin ang sakit at hirap na pagdadaanan nila kasama ang anak.
