Novel & Cerita Book Talk

I’m trying to be patient, but it’s harder than I’d like to admit. Two months ago, I opened my bookstore, and it’s been incredible. Twice a week, we host book clubs, and I’ve made it a point to bring one of the guys with me to each session. It’s hilarious watching their faces as we dive into the discussions. The women seem to enjoy it too—something about discussing steamy romance scenes with a bit of eye candy in the room. The door finally creaks open, and I sit up straighter as they walk in.

As fate would have it, Tyler, a fellow book enthusiast, struck up a conversation about a novel they both held in their hands. Their exchange of words soon transcended the confines of casual banter, evolving into a connection that felt destined. Sophie found herself drawn to Tyler's intellect, his passion for literature mirroring her own. The bookstore became their sanctuary, a haven where shared laughter and thoughtful discussions wove the fabric of their growing bond.

He shifts back; putting a seat between us and truly looking horrified. I ask, His body literally vibrates with excitement, making me chuckle, and he launches into a spiel, telling me about this book he was reading currently, a romance novel about a student and her professor, Her Professor’s Pet is the title, and obviously I am intrigued. “It is so good, I have to pace myself, I can’t finish it too quickly, and I also can’t slow down.” he groans in frustration, and I find that cute. I make a mental note to read the book so we could have conversations about it, I wanted in on his mind and whatever he was thinking about. We talk about everything and nothing at same time, but the entire time, even with bitter chocolate ice cream in my mouth, I find myself at peace,

Earlier, Daniel had told Alissa that the book conference in JW Mariott was a big event that every publishing company in the states and some from other parts of the world would participate in. It was an understatement because it wasn’t just big, it was huge and Alissa could see hundreds, tons of people with a few familiar faces at sight. Celebrities take a picture with their fans while writers are on every booth doing a book signing of their own. Fans can be seen in a long queue just to see them and Alissa saw one of her favorite writers.

Moments later, I shrugged and walked out of the lecture hall. Two weeks later, I trudged to a restaurant close to one of the banks inside the Permanent Site (P. S.) to have a brunch. However, due to academic and romantic activities in the semester, I barely had time for other non-law literature.
