Daddy's filthy little pet
She was so small like this—curled into me, trusting, soft—and it still floored me how someone this delicate could own every corner of my soul.
She shifted—nuzzled deeper into the crook of my neck, nose brushing my pulse point. Then, in the tiniest, sweetest voice I’d ever heard from her:
“Daddy…”
My heart did that stupid lurch it always does when she says it like that—soft, needy, a little vulnerable. I tilted my head down, lips brushing her hair.
“Yes, honey,” I answered, keeping my voice low, soothing, the register I only ever use when she’s small like this. “What’s the matter, baby girl?”
