Novel & Cerita Books About Elves And Magic

He was indeed foolish. “That child is the key to ‘The Heart of Magic.’ If you kill her, you will lose The heart of magic forever.” Aslan’s words kept ringing in my ears long after he left. ‘The Heart of Magic’ was the most coveted stone in the world. Rumors have it that this stone can grant immense power to the holder. The only problem was that it is hidden on The Enchanted Island. The only way to reach there was through a portal. Since the baby was the key to the portal, I had to wait until I had obtained the stone before killing it.

He doesn't say anything, so I follow him, assuming that is what he wants me to do. Deep inside the segmented tent is a room glowing with captured starlight, or at least that is what it looks like. Glowing blue crystals like the one the Magician showed on the first day of the Faire, glow from small lanterns high on the shelf. I reach out to touch one... "I wouldn't do that if I were you," the smooth voice of the Elf King brings my attention to him, my hand almost touching the light. "Those lights can be extremely toxic in high doses," he explains as my limbs feel weak at the liquid sound of his voice.

Pearl said, sounding as confused as I felt. “Because her story starts at the very beginning of it all” dad said, smiling my way. But I was even more confused, I was only nineteen! Almost twenty, how could my story start at the beginning of whatever they were talking about? “Pay attention now” mom said, looking at me sternly and putting a hault to my racing mind. “Centuries ago, before greed turned our world upside down, the dark elves roamed the forests freely. And they protected it with their magic, along with everything that lived within it” dad said, putting the open book on my lap and I saw pictures of people that looked like me.

And when Gylen had helped me channel it… Still, I'd never been more afraid than that night with the plants, when I had drawn from the magic in their leaves. The seduction of consumption that hid beneath them. And all of this…it all started when the wolvens wanted their freedom and the elves joined in. 'Why are you bringing this up?' She gives me a brief look and sighs. 'Seeing that girl…injured and helpless just kind of brought it all back, I guess. I don't know why. But this magic…' She looks at her palms as though they had a life of their own. 'It scares me sometimes. It helps, but it scares me'.

Dwarven traveling songs appeared to serve both entertainment and practical purposes, keeping the group's pace steady and maintaining alertness. Her thoughts drifted to the Wood Elves waiting ahead. What would they be like, these elves who rejected the structured society of their High Elf cousins? Would they welcome her scholarly inquiries or view her with suspicion? The accounts she'd read in the Sylvanae Archive described them as wild but wise, more connected to natural magic than their city-dwelling relatives. Aldergon had mentioned that they painted their arms with earth-toned dyes and lived in harmony with the forest, a stark contrast to the High Elves' carefully controlled environment.

Then I remembered something old, information as old as I was. “If your theory is correct, the goblins' thirst for thievery is due to the power of magic. They don't just consolidate their powers from the earth; they steal from energy, and jewelry containing great emotional charge is like an injection of power for them,” I said calmly, and Biel nodded. If that was true, we were in serious trouble. “Something about those elves didn't feel normal,” Nadine said, and I saw her shiver. At that moment her mother appeared between us.

But instead of old stories from my grandmother’s life, the pages were scrawled with strange symbols and sketches—shorthand in her handwriting explaining the purpose of different runes and sigils. Flipping through the pages, there were sketches of wolves, and the last page that she’d written in had a detailed rendition of a nightmarish wolf-beast that made my blood run cold at the sight of it, it’s eyes smudged over with charcoal in the shape of a protective rune. My heart raced when I realized what I was holding. This was no ordinary journal, it was a spell book.

Maybe that was her greatest role, destroy what is to make room for what could be. “This way.” He said turning down a path that was between a couple buildings. It had an archway that had plants growing everywhere. Just a few feet in it felt like you left the city and walked into a forest. The building that was tucked away here had vines growing up it. The sound of nature was real here. Looking left and right she couldn’t see the other buildings. Just a few large ponds and it seemed to extend quite a ways. She raised an eyebrow feeling the flow of magic and something else here too. This energy to the place that was refreshing, this was her first real contact with elves. They were an interestin

But one thing I'm sure is that he's also a royalty judging from his appearance. "Aeolous" he chanted as he got closer. "We've just arrived. By the way, I know you know her. But for formality, Esco this is Eleina, Eleina he is Esco. A wind mage like me. I train with him since among all royalties of our age, the two of us are the only mage with wind magic. That's why we train together" my brows shot up upon hearing Aeolous' words but I quickly put it down. How did he know me? Did Aeolous told things about me?

She never thanked me though, but put a spell on me, so anytime I need her help I will find her. Most elves have a strong sixth sense and are good at mastering any skill a human can learn. But there are rare ones. Like Carmelia, every rare elf has extraordinary magic. Some can see the future or possibilities of the future. Some can go back in time, some can alter people's minds, and some can understand animals or other amazing gifts.
